Watto's Junk Yard / Re: What do you drive?

My Mustang mentioned above finally went to car heaven the day before Thanksgiving. I got a bad prognosis from my mechanic last week that the engine was totally shot, and replacing it would cost more than the car is worth.

So long story short, this weekend I bought a 2018 Honda Civic over the weekend! I had been looking at them since the summer, and since used Civics from within the last 5 years are only about 3k less than new ones, I decided to buy new. I was hoping to get a 2017 because of potential deals since the 2018s were out, but they weren't negotiating anything, so I decided to go with a 2018 since they were only $100 more. Plus they had the color I wanted in a 2018!

Never had a car payment before (My Mustang was paid for with cash from me, my parents, and my grandparents), so that will probably mean less Star Wars toys, but that's kind of a worthy payoff.

What's the deal with Target doing the 10% Gift Card promo on December 3? People on the Star Wars Discord chat are saying you can get this for 10% off that day, but I'm skeptical.

Album of new figures shown off at Tokyo Comic Con

ROTS Obi-Wan, ROTS Anakin, Dooku, Clones, Astromechs, and more!

Got mine price matched with tonight. So if you find these in stores, that is another option

It was $34.99 in store... I didn't know that sale was still going on on I'm going to get the price adjusted today!

These hit my local TRU today and I snagged one. A pleasant surprise seeing as this TRU has not stocked any new Black Series since TFA Wave 2

I finally bit on this one today for $38 on Amazon. This line has completely vanished from my local stores (only Walmart ever stocked them) and I was scared I'd never get one at a decent price

Also of note, I noticed tonight that Target FINALLY marked down that Death Trooper/Cassian/Jyn 3 pack to $35.99... this is the first discount I've seen on it in a year when I snagged it for $54.99.

I'm not sure how long this discount will last, but considering my Target has 15 of those packs, they might need to lower the price even more.

Yeah I swear my area has become some sort of toy void recently. Only WM stocked the 6" speeders, only Target has the 6" centerpiece line. The most AT-STs I ever saw at a single store was 5.

And is there a thread for the Kaiyodo Revoltech SW figures?

The Revoltech figures are a bit of an acquired taste, if you can tolerate the weird joints. I recommend the 3PO and R2, never opened Fett, Vader is complicated to pose and the Stormtrooper is wicked tall

Thanks, I am doing some hard thinking about my collection lately.

Same. I'm wrestling with selling my Hasbro 6 inch stuff and exclusively collecting the Japanese stuff. More expensive, but there are a limited number of figures per year.

Is there a good resource where I can see everything they've released in this line?

Off the top of my head:

- Darth Vader (ROTS) (2016)
- Clone Trooper (AOTC/ROTS swappable heads) (2017)

- Darth Vader (ROTJ) (2015)
- Stormtrooper (2015)
- Boba Fett (ESB) (2016)
- Boba Fett (ROTJ) (2016)
- Sandtrooper (2017)
- Darth Vader (Hologram) (2016)

- Kylo Ren (2017)
- Captain Phasma (2017)
- Rey (2017)
- FN-2187 (2017)
- C-3PO/BB-8 2 pack (2017)
- Stormtrooper (2016)

Rogue One:
- Darth Vader (2017)
- Shoretrooper (2017)
- Death Trooper (2017)

Be aware that not only are these taller than other figures (they trend around 7" tall), but there are also some serious quality control issues with a lot of the figures... loose joints, fragile weapons, etc. It's a crap shoot. The only figure I've really had a problem with is the Rey, whose arm completely shattered.

The Boba Fetts will probably be the hardest and most expensive to track down (they're the best figures from the line) but everything else can be found fairly cheap. I also recommend the Rogue One Vader over the other 3.

Yeah, visually the game is incredible, and the gameplay is good, it's just frustrating that they ruined the multiplayer with the power up system, the "squad" feature that literally never comes in to play (and just delays re-entering play after you die), and not being able to choose which map and which type of match you want to play.
