I was covering a high school football game in the middle of nowhere last night and stopped by their local WM on the way home. Ended up grabbing a Luke if anyone needs one. They had a TON of Roses but I passed on them all assuming it would be easiest for people to find.

There was a Executioner Stormie there but it had been swapped out with a 5POA First Order Stormie  ::)

And now we know the only figure we will see from December to Wookie Weekend 2018.

The Season Pass DLC is now free if you're subscribed to Xbox Live Gold!

This has allegedly been found at a Walgreens in Northern California

I wonder if this will be like other Walgreens exclusives. Spotty release until December when it's suddenly everywhere.

And let's not even get into the absurdity of the "TRU Tax" on LEGO sets.

This part just blows my mind.  You gotta be in a huge hurry or just ignorant to pay an extra 10% to buy Legos at TRU.  Even when they do a BOGO 40% off you're still generally better off just buying from Amazon or Target with a red card.

The only time I get Legos at TRU is when they've got an exclusive that is interesting, and even then I often buy "their exclusive" via to get double VIP points.

I always thought it was a cheap way to swindle a few extra bucks from parents and grandparents who need a quick gift and have no clue what LEGO MSRP is. I can't stand their polybag promotions since they deliberately wait to put the polybags out AFTER the promotion ends, just so they can sell them for $5.99 a pop.

Don't forget the huge emphasis on the big events like Secret Wars II that are truly terrible

I read an interesting article somewhere last night blaming one of their problems on having an awful website, which makes sense. Amazon is easy to navigate, purchase, etc. Can you say the same thing about TRU's site?

It also blamed the stores having massive retail spaces, which don't appear to be a problem here because our local stores at least always having people buying baby stuff from the Babies R Us section, but it's really just the toy section that needs work. CLEARANCE THINGS OUT! My TRU was so clogged with TFA merch that they literally stocked ZERO Rogue One product. I was shocked to see TLJ stuff, although there's very little of it. There is still the mountain of Finns and Zuvios though, all for $19.99. I get that selling it for $2 won't help, but I might buy one or two in hopes they increase in value like other Black Series toys. Every other toyline, same story. I haven't seen any of the new Marvel Legends exclusives because shelves are clogged with 3 year old figures. I see the same WWE and TMNT toys whenever I go there, have for years now. And let's not even get into the absurdity of the "TRU Tax" on LEGO sets.

I've dropped down to only Star Wars. Just the main series plus whatever else I feel like getting. I used to be a completist but there's so much now and a lot of it is uninteresting.

I had also been buying Walking Dead and Amazing Spider-Man but wasn't actually reading them, so I stopped buying them.

This wave is apparently hitting JC Penney's stores, of all places. Multiple Revan/Sabine finds on Reddit. Might not be a bad idea to check your local stores.

Found, and snagged, a Luke today... because I wanted to see how the cloak looks on the 3.75 inch Black Series Luke. :-[

So according to the site, LEGO severely underestimated the demand for an $800 set, so the set is "Temporarily Out of Stock" and there will NOT be a widespread release on October 1. LEGO says "everyone will have a chance" to buy it, however.

Set is available for VIP Members! Currently backordered, and "will ship in 30 days."

Scalpers are already going crazy over it. ::)

Yeah, something just feels "right" about Star Wars movies and Christmas. Plus, this gets E9 out of that ridiculously stacked "3 weeks after Avengers 4, 3 weeks before Toy Story 4" release schedule

Jesse, I too have been thinking about scalpers. The original guy who let me have his extras only had Luke, Stormie and EPG in his hands, I found the Roses later. And the fact that Rose is the only other figure I've seen on the pegs at multiple stores is fishy too. The first new toys to hit WM in a while and a non-repack is sitting? ::)
