Got the Ambush on Illum BP at Target on Thursday for $14.

I got the A New Hope and Return of the Jedi tin sets for only $8 each at Wal-Mart today. I also picked up my first TAC basic figure, Super Battle Droid, at Target today for $6.99. Not a bad haul for the week.

Dressel Rebel, you have the greatest sig ever. Such a great song...

I got three Elite Corps Clones today, bringing my total up to five. I like it when Hasbro takes an excellent figure, repaints it, and makes it better. The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of a rifle, but I'll fix that one day.

I picked up the following today:
Padme Amidala
Obi Wan Kenobi Hologram (Light Variation)
Dath Vader's Astromech Droid
Elite Corps Clone Trooper x3  ;D
Clone Engineer

Now I have all 74 figures from the Saga Collection. I still want to pick up more of the five Episode Three clones from the Final 22, but for now I'm very happy.

You can always make slight changes to the Jedi Starfighters by painting the astro droid domes with different colors for more unique fighters.

What's everyone think of this cereal franchise?

http://www.cereality.com/intro.html

I guess I don't understand why someone would pay $4 to eat a bowl of cereal.

I think that it's almost as random and strange as my TV turning on by itself after it's been off for two hours. But that's not the point...

People aren't paying four dollars for a bowl of cereal. They're paying four dollars for a Cereality bowl of cereal. What is the difference? I have no idea. All I do know is that I want some cereal now.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30AC "Vintage" Figures Thread
« on: February 10, 2007, 10:04 PM »
I really like these six figures. All of them look very well articulated while retaining detailed sculpts and good paint jobs. I think the coins are a cool giveaway, and I'm definitely interested in getting one of each figure. I may also try to get three additional Snow Troopers. I hope that Lucasfilm approves the hooded head for Han Solo, because I think it looks great. I have high hopes for these vintage-style figures.

I thought I was going to pass on this wave when I read about it on a rumor list or whatever, but Hasbro's getting my money with these guys. I'm going to try to get one of each of the individual characters, two Shadow Guards, six Storm Trooper-like guys, and three Scout Trooper-like guys. Each figure looks phenomenal, and I'm very excited about this wave.

I'm kind of excited about this ship. Not as much as the V-Wing, but I'm still excited. It's like a Sith equivalent to the Jedi Starfighter, a decent size ship, a fun looking toy, and inexpensive. I just hope that Hasbro doesn't repaint this for Count Dooku, Darth Sidious, Emperor Palpatine, Yaerael Poof, Assajj Ventress, Darth Tyrannus, Chewbacca, and/or Darth Vader.
