BTW, did any of you hear that WM has started their clearance for the VTSC figures?  I read $3 in some areas.

I too have been looking into getting these.  A friend of mine just got the first three issues for his son so I was able to take a look.  They are definitely drawn in the Cartoon Network style and the stories are as fun as the cartoon.  If you liked that series then you will definitely like these books.  Yes, you are correct in assuming that they are meant for the kids, but even as an adult who enjoyed the Cartoon Network series I enjoyed these enough to want to get them myself.  One word of caution, make sure you get the versions you're looking for.  There are English and Spanish versions of these out there.

I was able to order two  !!!  BrentS e-mailed me too late, but there's a promotional code that you can use with your order to get a discount.  The code is 'COMIC2006'.  I just sent an e-mail to Hasbro in hopes of them modifying my order to give me the discount, but I highly doubt they will.  Then again, I didn't think that I would have a chance to get this figure after they sold out last week.  Good luck everyone!

I'm definitely excited about these!  I really like the stories and her writing style.  Obviously LFL feels the same way otherwise I'm sure that they wouldn't have commissioned two more books.  Now if we can only get them to release tie-ins like a nice Omega squad 4-pack of figures  .

I only picked up 3 VTSC Biker Scouts to go along with my Vintage Biker Scout and Speeder Bike.  I'm sure that I'll be picking up more now that they are going on clearance.  These have always been my favorite Troopers throughout all the movies.
