I never bought into the "Shadow" Stormtrooper thing even with these expanded universe being the "in" thing in Star Wars collectibles. It's not that I'm close minded---I really don't mind them, it's just I'm not interested in collecting something outside of the realm of the films (in particular the original trilogy).

I'm 50/50 about purchasing the Master Replica's Stormtrooper Helmet. After seeing the latest pics on their site, something looks off about this piece. For the amount of money they are asking for the helmet, it has to absolutely look perfect like it came directly from a Star Wars movie. I don't know if I'm feeling this piece or what. Usually, I like to do my homework before making a purchase. I know Master Replicas does a great job on their stuff. I love the MR Kermit the Frog that they released and was well worth the $200. I've seen the MR Allumium Falcon at a buddy of mines house on display and it looks incredible along with the MR Vader Helmet. Unfortunately, I have reservations about purchasing this piece because I'm not enthused about the pics they've taken of the piece thus far. I might wait things out to see what the final pics look like. If they sell out within that time, then they sell out. It's nothing big...

nevermind, i've been seeing these mini sabers cheaper at some online shops. i just got the ANH Luke for $15. I think I'll stick with that.

me too. i just got back into kubs after a short break. i ordered a box of 12 from hlj.com in anticipation of a series 8 announcement.

btw...anybody thats ever ordered anything from hlj.com...how long does it normally take for the package to arrive after its shipped?

They truly are addicting, but they are hard to hell to track down (especially series 1 & parts of 2, Obi, Greedo, & Tusken). I'm not even going to get into hunting after the exclusives...too much time, too much money.

I just picked up a second thanks to your recomendation, matt!! they really are addicting. i don't think i'm feeling the blasters though (from what i've seen). i winded up buying a Darth Vader ANH mini-saber tonight. They had two versions available...either the reg (which I bought--I'm happy they had ANH saber over the ESB one) or the gold chase version. Of course I went for the reg because it would good better on display with my Vader PF. Now I'm going to hunt after the Luke ANH mini-saber  ...

while i'm still unsure about getting the special version of the .33 boba blaster (w/ gold scope) because the original looks like alot better (and I'm not one to sell stuff down the line). i think i'm going to be getting a few of these within the next few weeks. i like them alot and i was weary with the first purchase because i was unsure of what to really expect with the piece on display. the saber in the package doesn't do it justice. i'm picking up the .45 Vader saber (i think the shop had both versions ANH & ESB...i'll pick up either one of the two) to display with my Sideshow PF Darth Vader.

I'm hoping there is announcement of Series 8 shortly as well...I'm hoping this boxset (with the Snowtrooper) that's been announced doesn't turn into Series 8. ...
