I have seen all of W1 lining the pegs for what seems like several months now.  When the heck are we going to get to W2 & W3?  Cripes, GI Joe has gone through six waves already!

That's not the best example considering that Steve Young went on to win a Superbowl.

More accurate would be what happened to Brian Griese after John Elway.

I don't think we've ever had a situation where the player who has defined the team pretty much by himself for double digit seasons is now gone.  I think Rogers is ready to take on the starting role based on what we saw of him this season.  If he can maintain the same level of play or better this year, the Packers will be just fine.

I heard that M. Turner (RB) finally landed a starting gig somewhere - Atlanta.  Good to see his raw talent go to a team that won't have a clue what to do with it.

I think he put that in his journal because of the experience with Desmond in the past to act as a saftey, but I don't think he's jumping back and forth in time.  If he was, he would be passed out in the "present" time at least once in a while.

However, I do think that he will go through the same time jumping thing at some point.  Remember how he was crying in his flashback when they found the remains of the flight on TV?  And he didn't know why he was crying?  I wonder if this is him travelling back in time and suffering the same problem, but he won't be able to find Desmond.

As for getting this sucker, starting in early July, I'll be hitting Target customer service with the DPCI...

EXACTLY.  With 40 Targets around the Mpls metro, I'm hoping this is not much trouble to track down, especially with the DPCI trick.

EBay boycott winds down, but anger remains

Interesting article.  Of course, Ebay is going to say they didn't notice any impact - if they admitted this hurt them, it would drive people to do it again, but saying it did nothing makes people feel as though there's nothing we can do.  I'm not a big frequenter of Ebay, but I applaud those who are and avoided the site to make a point.

Saw, but didn't buy, the new vehicles...  AT-AP and Grievous' Fighter.  I want the fighter but I'm waiting I think, at least for the time being.

I did find the Jedi Evolutions and last of the Comic Packs I needed though, so now I'm down to needing the other 3 Evolutions sets and, now I guess, Wave 2 as well.  Don't know when Pitt will see Wave 2 though, as we've yet to get Wave 1 in any abundance.

Which retailer?  ???

I just wanted to let the participants know that there is still one person waiting for his gift and I'm told it's on its way.

Wow, I'm sure there's a good reason, but its almost May!

Sorry, email popped up mid sentance.  Meant to say "...its almost as close to Christmas as it is to May!"

What do you guys think about Daniel and the cards scene. They seem to know that the island has some type of special property and i think they were testing psychic abilities.

This was my first thought as well - that he was testing paranormal abilities.  The Aaron thing was pretty obvious once they mentioned her baby.  I was trying to figure out the timeline and it just didn't seem to make sense.  Even if she's 3 mo. pregnant right now (on the island), she would be 6 months pregnant back hom, and doesn't seem to make sense that they would wait over six months for a trial.  Agree that the episodes keep getting better and better.  Kudos to the writers for bringing some mystery back to the show.

Anyone finding any '08 figures at Target yet?  ???

5938
Not sure if this has been posted 100% legit and can be used over and over again until October.  Hope it helps  ;).

Basically you've got to buy 4 figures to use it, but the price drops to $5.39/each.  And we like that.

Our local Target has figs for $2.24 each, so that means you have to buy 12 and the price drops to $1.82 per figure.  Now that's funny.

Anyone tried the coupon yet and had it work/not work?

So what is their excuse reason for the substantial price increase?

Econ 101 would say this is just supply and demand.  They sell out of their 12" exclusives within an hour of them being available, so why not increase the price.  It sucks as a collector and I certainly was not happy about the price...but I still bought one.  If it was my company and my profit at stake, I'd certainly jack up the price.  It could come back to bite them in the arse, but looks like the huge increase didn't chase people away this time around.   :-\
