I always meant to, for my loose collection.  But then when I got them I was sorely tempted to leave them in, given their condition.  But I was too excited to have them hang with my other dudes.   :)

That is a really nice piece.  I would have had a hard time ripping into these, but kudos on having some fresh out of the package rare figs to add to your collection!

Apparently the Nemesis wave of Marvel Legends is going to be released in San Diego Wal-Marts in time for Comic Con.  There isn't any mention of release elsewhere, but I certainly hope this isn't the only place these pop up in the US.

Cripes - this is still on the way?  I thought these were cancelled.  I'm just glad to hear that they're being released somewhere!

You mean white-trash female Stormtrooper figs?

You think those girls are white trash?   ???

I thought much the same thing when I saw the pic, I have to admit.  Tattoos and piercings at the navel, thin unhealthy-looking hair, plus the fact that these are girls actively making and/or wearing costumes at conventions, that have been altered and "sexified"...

Um, okay.  So having tats and piercings makes you white trash now?   ???  Did you think maybe their hair looks flat because they're wearing helmets?  And there are tons of guys wearing costumes at conventions - are they all white trash guys?  Not really following that logic.  As for making the outfits a little sexier are you referring to the armored boobies or open mid-sections?  I have to think that armor would be a little uncomfortable without the chest enhancements, but the intent of the costume is to be feminine and sexy.  If they were wearing slave leia costumes, would that be more or less white trash for you?  Or rather, if they had the same costume, but had big hair and no tats would they still be white trash in your eyes?

There are a surprising number of women at these events - I think its pretty sexist to call them white trash.   >:(

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Thor (Movie & Sequels)

Given every other actor in the prequels was awful, I think the blame there falls on Lucas.   ;)

I don't know, I thought Ewan was pretty good.  Liam was okay too as far as I'm concerned.

Looks like Natalie Portman has been cast for Thor. Natalie Portman in Thor

That's dissapointing.  Natalie is nice eye candy and I think a pretty decent actress, but I'm not sure that she takes big action flicks (alla Star Wars) very seriously and the results are pretty obvious on screen.  Maybe it was just Lucas and a lack of direction - here's hoping we get the "Where the Heart is" version instead of a Star Wars clone.

There's a button between the arrow you can use to dropdown your previously viewed sites and the refresh button.  It sort of looks like a broken document.  If you hover your mouse over it it will say Compaibility View.

Got it.  That worked - thanks!

Look at the site in Compatability view and that should fix the problem.

Thanks!  How do I do that?

Kubricks / Re: Boba Fett Collection

Man, now I'm starting to feel like I got hosed on this Fett case...

   E...

I feel bad for you guys that got no chases, but there have to be some non-chase boxes out there.  Always nice when the wealth is more spread out, but maybe your turn will come up next.  Still a pretty nice ratio overall getting more chase boxes than not.

Kubricks / Re: Series 10

Thanks Justin, it was a fun reveal for sure. On that note, I was examining my series 10 Kubies tonight and they all look great together, although I did notice an error with this set that happens to be a pet peeve of mine. The Anakin actually includes the EII lightsaber hilt design and not his proper EIII/EIV style hilt.  :-\

I know that doesn't matter to some/most collectors, but for as detail-oriented Medicom is for the most part, I'm kind of surprised this detail got past them.

I didn't notice that, but agree that it is irritating.  I can totally get someone not being able to tell the difference on the spot (myself included), but if you're only making a handful of figures per year, why not get the details right?  It's not like there isn't a walth of source material to go by... :P

Got some great Kubie bargains from Dan - almost a complete Mediacome Box Set D for just $120!  Very nice.  I picked up a Shadow Stormie from him at a bargain as well.  Thanks for the great deal Dan-O!
