Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Westworld (HBO)

There were a few hints about Bernard along the way, but I was not expecting things to go down the way they did in that lab.  My wife is assuming that the host Ford is building down there must be a replacement for Teresa.Still trying to figure out who nabbed Elsie, hoping she's ok and not a goner too.

Agree 100% about Hopkins and the majority of the cast.  Mauve/Thandi Newton too the way she bobs back and forth in host mode and then with the two tech doofuses.  Solid work all around.

I really wanted to toss in some extra for some extra spud buckets, guns, and such, but the all-in was a $ stretch for me as it is.

Magnificent Seven was on cable last night... watched it and wanted these figures more than ever.

Pinched some pennies while watching Deadwood re-runs today (for more inspiration) and figured out a way to upgrade my pledge to the $800 "Gimme-Two-Steps" level, which includes 3x each of the ten basic figures from the all-in package.  That deal per figure just can't be beat in that package, especially adding in the bonus Vigilante figures, Buckaroo blanks, and gear packs.  I also had enough to add some extra $ to get the extra spuds and guns I wanted.

still a few hours left to pledge if you haven't already!!

Of course it is... all thanks to me finally ordering that Rogue One 4-pack last night.

You're welcome, everyone!  ::)  Oh well, at least the 25% off sale is still valid...

Just an FYI that if you are lazy like me and haven't ordered this pack yet, it's on the ShopDisney app still and the app is running the same 25% off deal that DisneyStore.com is running.

Good time to pick up the set (less than $28 shipped to your door)! :)

Other Toy Lines / Re: ReAction Lines
« on: November 10, 2016, 09:33 PM »
If everything now becomes Super 7 style like He-Man and Street Fighter, and the prices are $15 each, and the distribution isn't at retail, I'm out.

Yeah, the main reason they partnered with Funko was to be able to hit the $10 price point.  I'd guess higher $15 prices and smaller edition sizes will be the norm for ReAction now.

ReAction Figures Return To Super7

No more Funko involvement in ReAction it sounds like.  Maybe that means the Funko Suicide Squad and GOT 3.75" figures are doing well enough for them to go that more modern/simple figure route and let Super7 have the "nostalgia" type stuff?

Also, part of the announcement was the new Super7 Retro action figure line for Street Fighter 2.

edit: Here is the Funko PR post, indicating that the E.T. stuff is the last Funko produced ReAction stuff and confirming that Funko's 3.75" stuff will have a new line name in 2017.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Walmart Black Series 3.75" Wave 6
« on: November 10, 2016, 12:01 PM »
I went into a TRU last night and they had an endcap overflowing with the 6" Scariff Trooper.   They must have had close to 75 of them in the store.

If you were at TRU, that was probably the 6" Imperial Hovertank Pilot. ;)

Not to derail the 3.75" thread but here's a reminder since they are all so similar and I'm seeing a lot of confusion here and other places:

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Walmart Black Series 3.75" Wave 7
« on: November 10, 2016, 10:06 AM »
Since the four Rogue One figures were split across two waves now, I guess we should have a thread for this wave too...  no word on case assortment yet.  Hopefully it goes 3x each like the Wave 6 case had for Jyn and Deathtrooper.

word on social media is now the other two RO figures are shipping too...  Great, huh?  :-\

Any word on the case ratio for the case with Andor and the Scarif Trooper?

I've seen social media reports on the Black Series 6" Scariff Trooper starting to hit, but haven't heard anything yet about Black Series 3.75" version (or 3.75" Black Series Cassian) though....

Spoilers ahead, so watch out -

At this point, I'm 100% behind the fan theory that Logan = Young version of Ed Harris/Man in Black.  Not sure how it's going to play out, but there have been so many hints and signs leaning that way.

Last weekend's episode was pretty good.  Still not sure whether I'm watching this show for anything more than the music and shoot-outs, though.  Still giving it a chance to build into something though...

I really wanted to toss in some extra for some extra spud buckets, guns, and such, but the all-in was a $ stretch for me as it is.  I'll have to hope I can get some of the gun/loot packs once they make it to the online store in the next phase.  :-\

I just found (and bought) Jyn and the Deathtrooper. However, it was a hybrid case

Really?  Interesting that they would put out a mixed case like that.

Yeah, it seems like, for some reason, they broke up the wave from what they initially announced.  Jyn and Deathtrooper are in this wave and Scariff Trooper and Cassian got bumped into the next one.

I don't think I've even seen promo images of these ones yet?

Stop worrying about politics and try reading about Star Wars for a bit :P

- Casssian Andor

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: Walgreens Black Series 6" C-3PO

Why?  So when collectors complain about the two C-3PO variants being separate releases, they actually have a valid reason/excuse why they went that route? ;)

In case you missed it, Jayson posted a nice pic highlighting the fact that Walgreens OT C-3PO is not just a repaint of the TFA C-3PO sculpt - he's got a unique torso sculpt:
