I flipped on that game in the 8th inning.  I laughed out loud when the Sox tied it.  And was glad that a former Twin could deliver the winning blast!   ;)

Talk about the potential for a momentum swing.  I think the Yankees will eventually take it because 3-0 is a big hole to climb out of, but at least now there's a changce the Yanks will have to win game 6 to get it...

Luke X-Wing Pilot  (no teeth showing) -  No.  One is enough for me.

Greedo (paint apps) - No.  The dark green of the Wal-Mart Cantina was

Tusken Raider (paint apps) - No.  I'v got too many Tusken already open.

Jawas (paint apps) - No.  I've got too many Jawas already open.

Luke Bespin (clean) - Yes.  It still amazes me how different this figure looks with a new paint application.  The non-bloody, cleaner look makes this one really stand out from the Saga version.

Vader Hoth (paint apps) - No.  I've got too many Vaders to warrant one where the only difference is a light white paint app on his feet.

Gamorrean Guard (paint apps) - No, I've got 2 of the old ones and didn't want more.

Bib Fortuna (paint apps) - No.  I'd rather buy a NEW sculpt Bib   :(

Imperial Trooper (new head sculpt) - Yes.  New head deco = must buy.  He'll look good standing next to the old one.

So, the only rehash figures that were different enough for me to grab to open were Bespin Luke and Scannign Trooper (still looking for him).

We've come to find out Schilling/Martinez is no Santana/Radke

It's true.  Schilling and Martinez are still in the Playoffs, meanwhile Santana and Radke are home with their thumbs up their asses courtesy of Yankee bats.

Yeah, we were talking about this over in the DPCI thread...

EE upped their prices for case purchases to $79.99, which works out to about $6.75 each.  That was the first indicator that the price on these figures was going up...

There is hope though.  Remember that the early Saga 2004/OTC figures were listed at $5.99 in the Target computers, but eventually dropped to $4.99 when Wal-Mart droped their prices.

I'd say that the primary reason that the Target computer has the price listed at $6.99 is because that is Hasbro's MSRP on these 2005 figures.  Target ALWAYS initially lists things in the computers at the MSRP, that is their policy.

With that said, I wouldn't be though surprised if the price comes down to $5.99 (or even $5.49) as Target and Wal-Mart price battle over the holidays,

I do think that after Christmas of this year we'll have seen the last of the $5 figure price-point.

So... I guess Canucklehead either:

A) got too tipsy last night to remember to draft

or

B) didn't have any access to internet like he thought he might

Think he'll make it in here this weekend or are we stalled until next week (Tuesday)?
