Saga Collection '06 / Who wants a new SAGA Battle Droid 3-pack?
« on: October 31, 2005, 08:10 PM »
I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of Battle Droids... just the generic grunts.  Love these guys.  I really wish we could get some sort of Battle Droid 3-pk, with variation colors.  Make them with great sculpts, and sturdy plastic, and you can take away some of the articulation for all I care.

Anyone else want to see this?  Maybe I'll make some sort of cheesy photoshop custom of what I'd like to see and submit it to Hasbro.   ;)

Photonovels and Movies / RE # 16 - CURSE OF DATHOMIR
« on: October 30, 2005, 05:06 PM »
Ok, here it is... the final chapter of the Dathomir series... hope you all enjoy!

While Rykrof Enloe struggles to find a way back to Coruscant, a lone enemy battle cruiser looms over the planet on which he resides.

Although his initial mission to exterminate the Badoo Corba terrorists on the planet failed, Rykrof did manage to find their hidden base.  In doing so, he has obtained valuable information for the Republic.  Fortunately, the Separatist force did not discover the complex until after Rykrof had abandoned the base.

On the run with his new allies; Freelo, Traedon and Briss, Rykrof and his comrades discover a number of destroyed battle droids.

“These are the same droids we saw yesterday,” Rykrof says.  “What do you make of it?”

“These marks aren’t from any animals,” Traedon says.  “Looks like we have more company.”

“Let’s just hope the Badoo Corba aren't back,” Rykrof replies.  “If someone’s taking out droids here, maybe we’re on the same side.”

Meanwhile, General Snodd continues his search for Rykrof and wonders why one of his droids patrol units has not reported in.

Although he is concerned as to what could have happened to the group, he knows there are countless dangers in the jungle.  Smugglers have been known to hide on the planet, and there are always the dangerous beasts that inhabit the area.

And although he is confident in his tracking abilities, he knows that if he is unsuccessful, Count Dooku’s disciple will surely eliminate Commander Enloe.

Meanwhile, the group of refugees stumbles onto a heap of decomposing bodies.
“What in the name of Valorum happened here?” Rykrof wonders aloud.

“Something’s approaching,” Briss then says.  “We better take a defensive position.”

Suddenly, the most horrifying sight that Rykrof has ever laid his eyes on appears.  Dragging the corpse of one of his troopers, the evil being known as Siriadne slowly emerges.

“I told you,” Freelo whispers.  “The witch!”

Suddenly the demonic being turns towards the group and roars an obscenity in an unknown language.

“Great job Freelo!” Rykrof yells.

As the group opens fire on the hideous creature, Freelo runs off in fear.

In a blur of motion, the witch advances on the group…

…and tears into Briss.

Horrified, Rykrof and Traedon sprint for their lives as the evil Siriadne begins to consume the flesh of her kill.

Minutes later, the two exhausted comrades stop to catch their breath.

“It’s just you and me, Republic boy,” Traedon says.

“No,” Rykrof pants.  “Freelo’s out here somewhere.  We have to find him.”

“The fish took off to save his scales,” Traedon argues.  “He’s only slowed us down.  He’s useless…”

Suddenly, to Rykrof’s surprise, Traedon’s eyes widen as he raises his blaster…

…and triggers a direct shot into the chest of an approaching battle droid.

Rykrof then remembers that the witch is not their only concern.

Both men then layer a shower of plasma at the attacking droids.

Then Rykrof hears the unexpected yet familiar sound of a lightsaber ignite. Out of nowhere, a figure appears and dismembers two of the droids.

And the other droids are destroyed by a second Jedi.

As Rykrof comes to grasp with the sudden turn of events, he realizes that the aid has come from an old friend, Jedi Master Kala Mly Shundi.

“Am I glad to see you,” Rykrof exclaims to his friend.

“As am I, Rykrof Enloe,” the Jedi replies.  “But it is not I that found your location.”

To his surprise, Rykrof turns around and sees his closest friend, the mighty Wookiee Ralbarr.

Although overwhelmed with emotion, Rykrof feels a bit uncomfortable showing his feelings for his friend in front of Traedon.

“Alright you two,” Traedone smirks.  “There will be plenty of time for that once we get off this hell hole.”

As the group prepares for an escape, an evil figure appears.

“Ventress,” Shundi says.  “Ralbarr, take them to the rescue site.  Kovin and I will handle this.  This is no place for you Rykrof.”

“This is no place for you either, Jedi!” Ventress exclaims.

Deciding not to question the Jedi, Rykrof and Traedon follow the mighty Wookiee further into the depths of the jungle.

Meanwhile the Jedi have their hands full with the dark side advocate.

As the dark woman begins to gain the upper hand, a hideous bellow erupts from the left.  “Jediiiiii…..” the horrible creature cries.

Ignoring the Jedi, Asajj Ventress leaps at the opportunity to face the abomination; now knowing this confrontation is the true test her master, Count Dooku, has orchestrated for her.

To her surprise, the living curse of Dathomir unleashes a terrible fury of dark side energy into her.

With Ventress rendered unconscious, the two Jedi cautiously confront Siriadne.

With a burst of speed, the witch delivers a Force push into Kala Mly Shundi and proceeds towards Kovin.

As the others continue to make way towards the designated rescue site, Rykrof begins to fear more for the safety of Jedi.

Many hours pass before Kala Mly Shundi awakes with a terrible headache.  Looking around, he sees no evidence of Ventress or the abomination...

…but finds the dismembered corpse of his apprentice, Kovin U’Delli.  Suddenly he hears the sound of someone approaching.

To his surprise, he finds a Mon Calamari smiling at him.

“A Jedi,” he says with joy.  “We’re saved!”

As dawn nears, Rykrof, Traedon and Ralbarr near the rescue site but are discovered by General Snodd’s patrol.

During the heat of the battle an enormous Rancor is attracted to the commotion.

While the main droid force concentrates on the Rancor…

…Rykrof is astonished as he looks in the sky to see a Republic Gunship descending.

“Rykrof, we’re here to rescue you,” Freelo exclaims.

Dumbfounded, Rykrof questions the Mon Calamari as to where he has been, and where Kovin is.

“Get on the ship,” Kala Mly Shundi calmly says.  “It is time for you to leave this place.”

As Rykrof and his friends climb towards safety, the droids fire several idle shots into the air.

After subduing the Rancor, General Snodd receives a transmission from Asajj Ventress.

“They escaped,” Snodd says.  Alert the orbiting cruiser to engage them.”

“It's too late,” she replies.  “They’re gone.”

“The Nemoidian hierarchy will not be happy about this,” the general says.

With a hiss, Ventress replies, “I suggest you worry about yourself, General Snodd.  Prepare to evacuate this wretched planet.”

Back on Coruscant, the Dark Lord of the Sith meets with his apprentice to discuss the latest events.

“This was an educational experience for her,” Darth Sidious says.  “She managed to survive against an adversary capable of defeating any of the Jedi Council.”

“Yes, but was she not defeated?” Count Dooku asks his master.

“Of course she was.  But through her failure she will learn her own weaknesses …and the limit of her power.  This defeat for her will only refine her abilities.  Soon she will be ready to face the one they claim to be ‘The Chosen One.’”

"And what of Rykrof Enloe?  I am impressed that he survived," Dooku says.

"He is not important in the grand scheme of things.  Nonetheless, he has gained powerful allies, and may prove to be an asset for the time being.   But he will be dealt with in due time," Lord Sidious replies.

Meanwhile, Rykrof and the survivors embark on the long journey home.

“I can’t thank you enough for coming for me,” Rykrof says to his Jedi friend.

“Think nothing of it.  It only saddens me that you are in the position you are in with the Senate,” Shundi replies. “Although it is against the Jedi Code, I understand why you delayed your mission to Dathomir.  Seeing your family is important to you.  The Badoo Corba may have escaped because of your actions,  but it is important that you are safe, regardless of what some politicians may think.”

“Yeah, well I have a feeling what’s on this data cylinder with turn some heads,” Rykrof says grimly.  “It’s invaluable information, but they’re not going to like everything I found on it.”

“But no matter what they do, at least I know I'm not going back to that planet again.”

Revenge of the Sith / Preview Wookiee vs. Heavy Gunner Wookiee
« on: October 24, 2005, 02:06 PM »
Wow, I was fortunate enough to find a Heavy Wookiee Gunner today... what a figure.

I remember when I first got the Preview Wookiee, I was blown out of the water with how cool it was; how big, articualted and well sculpted.

Well, I think Hasbro may have done an even better job on the Gunner Wookiee.  The basic body is exactly the same, but the paint job on this one is excellent... and the shirt thing is very well done.  It's kind of like a leather material, and fits him well.

To me, the first one had better accessories, but this one just looks better as a stand-alone figure.  It could be "at home" in a number of dioramas too.  He could be a regular Wookiee farmer, a traveler, a bar patron, or a warrior.

I'll try and take a comparison pic of the two tonight.  If you liked the Preview Wookiee, then this should be an excellent addition to your collection.

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Modular Bespin Playset
« on: October 20, 2005, 05:44 PM »
Remember this thing guys?

I think I might commission Owen D to try and make somethign similar to this for the 3-3/4" line, or might go about it and try it on my own.

If I didn't use styrene, would wood be a good way to go about it?  Or a combination of different materials?

Seeing that Month #6 - BLUE HARVEST is nearing an end, I thought we could start discussing more about Month #7...

What is the consensus on this?  Are we going to work on organic Separatist Troops?  What other suggestions do we have?

Just wondering how many people here have made versions of these ladies?  I've always wanted to, but never have... I kind of had a feeling they would show up on a 2006 figure list, but looks like they're not making them this year either.

I saw these ones that a guy named Doug Cottrell made... wow!  I think I might try and make these chicks using his pic for reference.

Thoughts?

Revenge of the Sith / What about this Clone?
« on: October 14, 2005, 11:59 AM »
In the ROTS novel, there are some Clones dressed up as Jedi in the Temple after Order 66.  They are disguised to help trick any potential Jedi survivors so they can murder them easier.

Here is a reference pic -

I really like this idea and find it kind of chilling and very evil... here's my take on a couple of them.  I doubt Hasbro would make them look like this, but it's just my take on them.

Although this isn't in the movie, I think it might be a cool figure for Hasbro to make... any takers?

My good friend Owen D has done it again.  A couple months back we started discussing another possible project that I could commission for him to make... and we had discussed the bridge of the Star Destroyer Executor... here is the first portion of it -

And click here to see many more pics - http://www.owenscustoms.com/Executor.html

I've said it many times before... for those of you that want some awesome playsets to display your collection in, you should contact Owen.  There's nobody better to deal with for this sort of thing.

Revenge of the Sith / Gree and Bly - a nice surprise
« on: October 11, 2005, 01:55 PM »
Found one each of these figures at a Target store today... and after hearing a ton of negative things about them, I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with how well they turned out.

Gree - The paint job isn't dead on, but it makes him match the AT-RT drivers pretty well... my only rant would be the straps.  I wish they weren't painted on.  Oh well, I already customized a version of him a while back.  I am sure I can do the same to this one and make it more how I'd like.  Overall, I'd still give this figure a 9/10 score.

Bly - Pretty good too.  If you like the regular red and green commander figures, then this one should be a welcome addition to your collection.  Exactly the same as those, just a different color.  Should look great with minimal customized weathering.

Photonovels and Movies / RE#15 - Edge of Death
« on: October 7, 2005, 06:24 PM »

Over two months have passed since Rykrof Enloe has seen his family.  Thought to be dead by the leaders of the Republic and by his closest friends, no rescue attempt has been made.  As the war continues, a lone Federation Battleship looms over the planet as the Confederacy continues to hunt any Republic survivors.

Taking refuge in an abandoned Badoo Corba terrorist base, Rykrof and his team search the complex for supplies.  Taking shifts, at all times a lone guard stands outside to watch for approaching droids.

Hoping to find a ship inside the complex, Rykrof and TK-42 have searched the entire base but come up empty handed.

During his stay, Rykrof has found one working terminal, and viewed hundreds of recordings; including a transmission to evacuate the complex sent by the new leader of the Badoo Corba, Troffar the Terrible, immediately prior to the Republic’s arrival in the Dathomir system.

He has also had the chance to become acquainted with Freelo, a freelance archaeologist who had been contracted by the Separatists to help coordinate an excavation on Rhen Var.  Although the Mon Calamari had considered working for the Confederacy, Rykrof has learned that his new acquaintance is no enemy of the Republic, and had preferred to stay out of the war.  Rykrof has enjoyed the company of the stranded alien, who is now willing to help the Republic if he can ever get off the planet.

After another day of endless research, Rykrof comes across a startling discovery – the secret identities and coordinates of dozens of Badoo Corba terror cells throughout the galaxy, including the underground of the Republic capitol of Coruscant.

Amazed at his find, Rykrof quickly saves the data onto two separate security locked data cylinders.

Knowing his chances of survival are slim, he entrusts the second data cylinder to Freelo.

“If only one of us makes it out of here, this information must get to the Republic.  Chancellor Palpatine will know how to retrieve the data,” Rykrof says.

With this priceless information in their possession, Rykrof speaks with his troops and the decision is made to leave the complex.  They must find a way off the planet soon – and if the base is discovered by the droid army with them inside it, they will have no way out.

“We’ve stayed here long enough,” Rykrof says.  “It looks like our only option is to find Freelo’s ship and see if we can make the necessary repairs.”

Meanwhile, in the Daabul system, Count Dooku makes contact with his master, Darth Sidious.

“The Force is with us, Master Sidious,” Dooku says as he greets the Dark Lord of the Sith.

“Yes, the war is going as planned.  Neither side has struck a distinct advantage,” Sidious says.  “What of the progress on Dathomir?  Has the Republic strike team been eliminated?”

“They surely must be dead by now.  Commander Ventress has found no trace of further survivors or encountered the witch to my knowledge.  However, I have sent General Snodd to accompany her.  The two of them will ensure that the strike team is indeed dead,” Dooku replies.

“Time is of the essence.  She is too valuable to be chasing down ordinary troops for this long.  But within her burns a blatant weakness.  Her aggression gives her strength, but she underestimates her enemies …like my former apprentice,” Sidious hisses.

“Inform her that her time allotted to find proof of their death is nearing an end.  Then we will see how she fares against a more suitable adversary …Anakin Skywalker.”

“It will be done, my Master,” Dooku replies.  “Commander Enloe surely must be dead by now.  If he is not, in due time he will meet his destiny.”

Meanwhile, back on Dathomir, Nemoidian General Snodd searches new areas far from the original crash site of the Republic strike team…

…and finds evidence that the team has survived longer than originally thought.

“This helmet has not been sitting here for long.  Possibly two weeks at most,” he says to himself.

As the general continues to investigate the area surrounding the helmet, several droids from his unit continue to march west.

Suddenly, a laser blast strikes the lead droid.

And the surviving Republic troops continue to fire upon the Battle Droids.

Caught off guard, the droids begin to fall back as Rykrof's team advances.

Hearing the laser blasts, General Snodd approaches the scene of the battle.

“It’s them,” he shouts.  “Kill them!”

“Sir, there’s more of them approaching,” TK-42 says.  “I request we fall back.”

As the Republic troops retreat, General Snodd contacts Commander Ventress.

“I’ve found them!  Three Republic troopers and a Mon Calamari …heading southeast at coordinates two-zero-six-point-three-three-eight!”

Rykrof and his group quickly disperse into the wilderness.

After over 20 minutes of running for their lives, Rykrof and Freelo slow down, only to find they have become separated from the other two troops.

“Damn!  How did that happen?” Rykrof yells to himself.  “Hey, what the hell are you looking at?"

“There is someone behind you,” Freelo then says.

“Hands up,” a rough voice says.

As Rykrof turns around, he finds himself starting into the barrel of a D-11 blaster.

Suddenly another man appears, this one behind them.

“Never seen a clone trooper look like you before,” the man says.  I thought you were all the same.”

“Commander Rykrof Enloe, of the Grand Army of the Republic,” Rykrof says.  “And who might you be?”

“Cusiro’s the name.  Traedon Cusiro.  And if the Mon Calamari hadn’t dropped his blaster, I reckon Briss would have shot him dead in the head.  He’s never liked aliens.”

“How thoughtful of him,” Rykrof replies.

“We’re from Correlia.  Trying to get off this sewage dump for a while now.  Droids have attacked us too, so I guess that puts us on the same side,” he says.

Meanwhile, Asajj Ventress looks upon the corpse of a rancor, who was foolish enough to think she was its next meal.  “Pitiful creature,” she laughs to herself.

After relishing in her kill, Ventress approaches General Snodd.

“So, there are indeed survivors.  But I see you let them escape,” she hisses.

“They cannot run for long,” Snodd counters.

"My droids have found where they were hiding as well.  They were kept up in a Badoo Corba complex.  We will keep a squad of droids there in case they return.”

Finally having new progress to report, Ventress contacts her master.  “My Lord, we have found them.  It will not be long before they are dealt with.”

“I hope not, Commander.  You have but 48 hours to complete your mission,” Dooku replies.

“They will be dead in half that time.  Master… I have felt a presence on this planet.  Of one that is strong with the Force.  But it is not the sensation of a Jedi,” she says.

“Your feelings serve you well, Asajj.  If it is your fate, you will encounter this presence,” Dooku says.  “If you survive, your power will grow to levels you cannot possibly imagine.”

Meanwhile, Rykrof’s separated troops discuss their situation.

“Our primary objective is to see to it that the commander survives.  Our lives are not important,” TK-42 says.

“Agreed,” the other trooper replies.  “He needs to get that information to the chancellor.”

Miles away, Rykrof, Freelo, Cusiro and Briss set camp for the night.

Although uncomfortable trusting these new men, Rykrof feels he has no choice.  Any help is better than no help.  He must concentrate on finding a way to deliver the data cylinder to the Republic. Although the Badoo Corba escaped and he has failed in his primary mission, he takes comfort knowing this information could save lives.

“So how did you end up out here,” Rykrof asks, breaking the awkward silence.

“Shot down by the Separatists actually,” Cusiro says.  “Smuggling supplies to Ithor.  Once we crashed though, the real hell began.  Ran into some sort of witch down here.  Killed most of my men.  Briss here actually escaped from her.  Doesn’t like to talk about it though.”

“Witch?”  Freelo asks.  “I encountered a creature in the woods unlike any I have ever seen.  Only in folk lore have I heard of such an abomination.  But what I saw after arriving here is true.  Such things do exist.”

Intrigued by what he is hearing, Rykrof allows the others to discuss what they have seen.

“She may have been once a Nightsister.  A user of the Force …evil as hell.  I’ve heard stories about them,” Cusiro whispers.  “Siriadne is her name.”

“From what Briss said, she’s a living demon …a cannibal.  She never sleeps… her obsession with flesh is her curse.”

“She is the curse of Dathomir…”

Photonovels and Movies / RE #14 - SURVIVAL
« on: September 20, 2005, 03:32 AM »

Nearly one month after seeing her husband depart for Dathomir, Alyssa Enloe tends to their child before retiring early after a stressful day learning of yet another loss for the Republic in the Outer Rim.

As she collapses onto the bed she once shared with her husband, Alyssa falls into a deep slumber, wondering where her husband could be and why she has not heard from him since his departure.

Little does she know that her husband has become stranded on Dathomir after being ambushed by several Trade Federation battleships.  While his small fleet had been able to launch several escape pods, most were shot down in space before reaching the surface of the planet.

However, many of Commander Rykrof Enloe’s clone troopers did not survive the crash…and they are the lucky ones…

…as several of those that did survive find themselves being hunted by the giant rancor beasts native to the planet…

…while all Republic clone troopers are trained to expect the unexpected…

…very few have the ability to avoid the clutches of a bull rancor…

…and are devoured by the terrible beasts.

If it is not the diseases, starvation or the native creatures that the survivors fear, it is the relentless patrols by the Separatists, obsessed with killing any potential survivors.

After several weeks, Commander Asajj Ventress has tracked down what is thought to possibly be the final survivor from the Republic strike force sent to destroy any remaining Badoo Corba in the system.

Exhausted and beaten, the clone struggles to keep from falling to the ground.  Only pride and training keeps the genetic copy of the famous bounty hunter Jango Fett from collapsing into the cesspool of grime infested swamp water.  Only this pride and training give him the strength to stare his hunter face to face before his imminent death.

“Fool,” the dark woman says.  “Your war efforts are useless against the might of Count Dooku.  The terrorist base you seek was abandoned before you even arrived.  Once again your pathetic military strategies have failed.”

With a terrible pinch through her mastery of the Dark Side of the Force, the woman ends the clone’s oxygen supply, causing an agonizing death for the soldier of the Republic.

“Leave this weak scum to rot,” she says half mindedly to the battle droids flanking her.  “I must update General Grievous on our progress.”

After explaining her success and the near impossibility of any further survivors, Asajj is surprised to learn that Count Dooku has ordered for her to stay on the planet until she has firm proof of Rykrof Enloe’s death.  Although she has no respect for Grievous, Asajj Ventress will do anything to further her influence with the mighty Count Dooku, and agrees to stay on Dathomir until the completion of her mission.

Soon after, the Separatist fleet gathers in the Daabul System.

Count Dooku discusses the latest situation with former Jedi Master, Sora Bulq.  “I disagree with keeping Commander Ventress on Dathomir,” the Dark Jedi says.

“She has a mission and I wish to see if she fulfills it.  This is not only a test to find Republic survivors, but will be a challenge for her with the native creatures on the planet, as well as with the witch.  The commander’s search radius is currently limited to a 100 kilometer trajectory of where the escape pods landed.  The pods just so happened to crash on a rather large island, ruled by this dark witch.  This should prove to be an interesting challenge for Commander Ventress.”

“I see,” agrees Sora Bulq.  “And so it is,” Dooku replies.  “And while we continue to strike randomly against the Republic, they are unable to gather the necessary resources to interfere with our excavation of Rhen Var.”

Meanwhile, back on Dathomir, the Separatist forces continue their search.

“There’s too many of them,” TK-42 says.  “Even if I got off a clear shot on her, we’d be overrun by droids.”

“Then we move on,” Commander Rykrof Enloe replies.  "Now is not the time to confront them."

“But Sir, where are we to go,” TK-42 asks.  “We’ve been out here for weeks, constantly running and hiding from the droids and those giant beasts.  I for one would rather take a few of them out with me than be snuck up on and shot in the back...or…”

“Look, we’re getting off this damn planet.  I don’t know how we’re gonna get out of this mess, but I’m not dying here,” Rykrof says.  “Either we wait to get rescued, or we find a way off this slimy mud hole.”

“We really haven’t covered any ground either.  It’s time we try heading south.”

Several hours later, to their surprise the group discovers what looks to be the abandoned Badoo Corba base they had originally set out to destroy.  Cautiously, they approach the ghostly structure.

“It’s doubtful there will be anyone here still Sir, but I still suggest we try and find another entrance to be on the safe side,” TK-42 recommends.  “Nothing’s been easy so far,” Rykrof argues.  “I say we try and see if our luck changes.  We’ll go ahead and try the front door.”

To the relief of the group, Rykrof appears to have been right.  Not only does the base appear to be abandoned, but the front door was unlocked.

“Ok, now I suggest a little more caution,” Rykrof says.  “I really didn’t expect that door to be open.”

As they begin to search the complex, Rykrof notices an emblem of the former Badoo Corba leader, Trigg Fuuda… and is reminded of the many terrible memories he has experienced since his first mission to Abridon, so many years ago.

Suddenly the group hears a sound from the adjacent room, and proceeds with caution…

“Set weapons for stun,” Rykrof orders as they prepare to enter the next room.

To their surprise, they find a Mon Calamari standing with his arms up, begging for his life.

“Please don’t shoot me,” he begs.  “I am only looking for parts to repair my ship to get off this planet.  I mean you no harm!”

“What if he’s a terrorist …leftover from their quick departure?  Will we be having fish for dinner,” TK-42 asks.  “No, I don’t think so,” Rykrof says.  “I don’t think he’s lying to us.”

Soon after, Rykrof’s troops begin searching the complex for supplies.

And Rykrof takes a much needed break.  Sensing a good opportunity to question their new acquaintance, Rykrof begins to get to know the Mon Calamari.  First he explains his situation, and then listens carefully to what the Mon Calamari has to say.

“Freelo is my name.  I am a freelance archaeologist.  I was contacted by the Separatists to assist in an excavation on Rhen Var, but was unsure whether or not to take the offer, which was substantial.  I was near this system when my ship’s thermal coupling faulted, causing my crash on this planet.”

“I’ve seen the Separatist droids here on the planet though, and have avoided them fearing they may shoot me first and ask questions later.”

“That’s what this war has become,” Rykrof laments.

“Even now, the war goes on…”

“…it’s reached levels I never though possible…”

“…and all we have seen is destruction.”

“True,” Freelo says.  “A terrible thing this war has become, for both sides.  Perhaps we can work together to get off of this planet and return to our homes before they become destroyed too.”

“But to get back to my ship it could be difficult…”

“…for I have seen an evil being near my crash site that is far more terrible than droids or rancors…”

Watto's Junk Yard / Man with the Screaming Brain
« on: September 10, 2005, 12:45 PM »
I saw a preview for this on Sci Fi today, it's comes on I think at 8pm Central Time.  It looks like it could be very humorous.  It stars and was directed by Bruce Cambell.

Man with the Screaming Brain is a story of greed, betrayal and revenge in a small Bulgarian town. William Cole, wealthy industrialist, winds up with part of his brain replaced by that of a Russian cab driver Yegor. The two couldn't be more different, but they share one thing - both were killed by the same woman. Brought back to life by a mad scientist, William and Yegor form an unlikely partnership to track down their common nemesis.
