Anyway I'm open to opinions on how the compiling of this should look.  A figure's name on the left for the base body, and to the right all the names of the figure's heads that fit it?

Perfect.  I'll contribute when I get the chance this weekend.

There is a thread like this at RS, but it was taking me more than a few minutes to figure out the way it was configured, and quite frankly too much of my attention span, concentration and patience is used up at the office during the day to sit down and try to figure that out.

Your idea is good.

I saw scans of some new LEGO Avengers toy which had the "mystery villains" prominently pictured on the front of the box. AND YOU STILL CAN'T TELL WHAT THE $%^& THEY ARE!

Top 4 theories from around the Interwebz:

1) Skrulls
2) Kree
3) Inhumans
4) Atlanteans

I hope they go with #2, it's the only one not lifted right out of the pages of the Fantastic Four.

Looking at the ships, I'd say Skrulls.

But Frost Giants are also in that list of possibilities.

And the eBay ad said he was 3.5" right?  The figure doesn't even look that tall next to a purported 3.75" Scarlet Spider.

The first picture Jayson posted there is actually Secret Strike Loki, not King Loki.  This is King Loki from the Thor line, almost nobody found him:

It is a totally different figure from the Avengers Loki.  I did buy the new Avengers Loki and for me it completely takes the place of the King Loki figure.  This Avengers Loki is less articulated but you can still pose him a few cool ways.  And I like his helmet and face sculpt better:

I had posted about this last week over at marvelousnews.

Picked up 3 Vulture Droids for $21 each at Walmart.

Nice vehicle discounts.

They treat employees like crud.

Oh.  What does Walmart do to it's employees?

127
Does anyone know or think Walmart still makes a profit when they let a vintage figure go for $4?

Does anyone care?

Yes.  Don't you wonder how much profit the retailer makes, and how much the manufacturer makes?

I don't have the numbers, but something tells me Walmart's cost for a Star Wars vintage figure is somewhat higher than $4.

I know a Walmart regional manager, I'll ask him next time I see him.

Yeah, that ish is sickening. I'm ready to fight someone. 4 dollars in outer states but NY has to be the only place to try to rob you blind.

Nothing new really.

Anyone else seeing the clearing out of older Vintage figures as a possibly very bad sign of things to come in the next several weeks?  :-\

This has been my experience at Walmart.  They just might have dropped the vintage line.  We'll have to wait and see.

I went out to four Wal-Marts tonight. I wasn't able to find any new figures.

That in itself is crazy.

Nobody should be able to go to four different Walmart stores and find nothing new.

Just don't see myself worrying about Cap's lid when there's something better to look at right beside him.

You must really like Hawkeye.

Nice talk gentlemen.

134
It wasn't prices or distribution that hurt the line.  It was a Rebel Fleet Trooper without a holster.

There was no point in making these.  It's not like we're not already saturated with basically all of those figures.
