And I thought the $50 I paid for the Blu-Rays a few years ago was a good deal...

I've actually been meaning to marathon these for the longest time but have just never gotten around to it. I haven't seen TTT or ROTK in well over a decade. I didn't quite care for the first two Hobbits but I'm dragging myself to see the third so I suppose now would be a good time to do so.

The results of this week pretty much lock up the final two playoff spots for Brent and OCB, no?

I HATE these stupid TRU "free with purchase" promotions because my stores never get the f'n promo items. It's so frustrating because I've missed out on a lot of cool stuff.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: The Force Awakens Trailers

This will probably be 70 seconds of words and maybe a split second of all of the OT characters. Doubt we see much footage

I wasn't fully paying attention since the Cowboys game was on but I'll rewatch later today... Probably my favorite part was the teaser for Better Call Saul. It did infuriate me when Daryl convinced Rick to keep that cop alive though. Do these morons not remember what happens every time they choose to let bad guys live?

I laughed at Eugene still being out cold, and had completely forgotten about Gabriel.

Rosita on Talking Dead...  Good god is she a good looking woman.

Yes, please. Actually got me to watch a few minutes of that terrible show. The TWD makeup crew deserves all of the awards for making all of these hotties look bland and generic.

I ordered the Lost Missions online last week but haven't had a chance to check it out. Interesting is that it's labeled as a Disney home video release. Guess that means there will be effort put into the discs unlike the Complete Series set that had an entire season that couldn't play. ::)

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: The Black Series 3.75" - Wave 6
« on: November 20, 2014, 01:01 AM »
Spotted this wave at my local TRU today. Since I got everything from HTS I passed, though I did snag a second Vader since it has the corrected neck post and the head no longer falls off.

Birthday thread gone, no more Collector's Spending Challenge either.

Other Toy Lines / Re: Pixar Toys

I feel like I have seen some of these but haven't realized it yet. I know I saw some Incredibles figures the last time I was in TRU. Can't say I would collect another line either but I would buy a Buzz Lightyear.

Did they really not sculpt a full holster for Hoth Luke? It has the VOTC Han syndrome where they sculpted the leg strap into the leg.

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Prototype Boba Fett (Walgreens)
« on: November 13, 2014, 12:22 PM »
Finally snagged a Fett this morning at a ghetto Walgreens near work. The cashier mentioned that there was a guy who came in at least twice a day asking about them, and he would buy the entire stock if they had any. So now I know why it took me forever to find one.  :)

Finally found Proto Fett this morning.

Yeah, these figures look better than anything offered by Hasbro or Mattel. I'll probably wind up importing some, but it'll be tough picking between the Bandai Vader and the Revoltech Vader with the funky ball joint cape.

Sony is rumored to be planning a movie about May Parker now. They've denied the rumor, but still, can we just get Spider-Man's rights back to Marvel?
