Recently changed mine to a cropped pic of Robilus Dralco, a main character in my photonovel. :P

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Diddly's Customs - 9/4/05: TSR Teaser!

I recently downloaded a Photoshop type program called Pixia. It's really helping me with things like holograms and lightsabers, but I can't figure out cut and paste yet.

Here are two examples, one which is greatly improved from what appeared in the photonovel. ;)

Also, work is coming along on several locations for TSR part 6, which I'm thinking of calling "Power is Money." I rather like that title... :)

Pretty cool for simple headswaps. Nice to have a variety.

BTW, I can't remember if you've answered this or not, but how do you get the AT-TE Gunner's pauldron off? Is there a snap that I'm missing?

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Wal Mart Sucks

I hate Wal-Mart stores, so I always enter and exit through the Lawn and Garden section, which is right next to the toys. However, I sometimes venture to electronics and notice how DVD sets are several dollars cheaper than they are at places like Best Buy. And sometimes I give in. :-\

Does anybody else hate the people who park next to the entrance and stand next to their car, making it both hard to get inside on foot AND hard to pull around them due to traffic?

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't there some kind of bumper material with Threepio and Artoo when Fox aired the SW films leading up to the theatrical release of AOTC along these lines?  Maybe the bumpers were edited together for a featurette and that's what WM's bonus disc will include.

This jogged my memory, Doc. I seem to remember Wal-Mart airing viginettes on those TV's they have hanging from the roof (I don't know why they have these). I remember once they showed 3PO and R2 talking to each other (no audio on these TVs ::)), and showing clips from the movies. I didn't pay much attention, as I wasn't going to stop in the middle of a crowded aisle to watch Star Wars. Perhaps this is what they're putting on the disk.

I hope these don't show up too soon. I'm still trying to find the original set!

I'm in Austin, and we're also in Rita's projected path. Lots of rain and up to 50 mph winds are expected this weekend. I hope everybody is smart and evacuates, or at least gets as far away from shore as possible. Houston and Galveston will definately experience some serious flooding.

I'm considering getting one of those new iPod Nanos... even though I have a Rio MP3 Player that serves me well, I like the smallness of the Nano. It holds a lot of songs for it's size too.

Hmm, not too sure I can help, but you may want to Google it and look up methods of removing it. I know that this helped me get rid of an annoying piece of spyware earlier this summer. I was able to run Ewido in safe mode (took forever to scan though, like 6 hours). If you can't find an alternative method, I'd try that.

Good luck!

Here's my Collection...I've sold everything I have to buy bottles of JD and traded the rest for SFG's old stuff.  It was a good deal

You mean you didn't send the figures to Bilbo?!?

Photonovels and Movies / Re: RE #14 - SURVIVAL

Woohoo! Very cool. I enjoyed this chapter.

The detail on the clones is amazing! I love how you made everything about them dirty, even the weapons! Freelo's backstory is interesting, and I'd like to see where you go with him.

The one thing I disliked, though, was Dooku. I know you like to give the figures detailed expressions, but the photoshopping of Christopher Lee's real face seemed like overkill to me. Also, IMO, it seemed out of place when everyone else has their "real" figure faces.

Phruby, I also thought that creature was a Gungan! :P I can't wait to see what it really is. Any idea when #15 will be up, CHEWIE?

Revenge of the Sith / Re: #65 Tactical Ops Trooper (501st)
« on: September 20, 2005, 05:46 PM »
Dammit. >:(

As I've said earlier in the thread, the Gunner body has a kickass lower half, but a mega crappy upper half. He can't even hold his gun very well, and can't stay standing either.

And they STILL don't give a Clone his rifle! I'm sick of those stupid Clone Carbines/early E-11s. I want the rifle that the 501st in the movie held!

Seems interesting, although wasn't this a special on some channel the week ROTS came out? I'll get it if it's something new, or if no other stores offer anything.
