As far as Red Tails goes,  if you love visual effects on the big screen, go see it now. Overall though I think it is a great movie to rent and watch at home in Bluray.

Is it one of those "found footage" type films?  It kinda looks like that from the previews.

I recently got to watch the Giants/Pats earlier match-up and some things I noticed:

-Giants got a lot of pressure on Brady, causing a few interceptions.  At the time, the Giants' defense was not playing as well as they are now.

-Bradshaw did not play due to injury...yet the Giants were able to get a decent run game going.

As far as recent playing:

-The Patriots have been relying on their offense out-scoring their opponents' offense and a defense that has been horrible against the run.  Their defense has stepped up during the playoffs, so we'll see what happens there.

-I thought Gronk was done when he went out of the game against the Ravens....ankles are not supposed to bend in that direction.

-The Giants are healthy overall and the defense has really stepped up.  The offense looks really good and the running game has improved during the playoffs.  Eli Manning also tends to make better decisions when under pressure than he has in the past.  He was sacked six times by the Niners and did not cough up the ball.  Last year, that would've been six fumbles.

As I sit here in my 2011, Giants NFC championship shirt, I am hoping for a big win by the G-Men, but I can see this game going either way.  I expect a low scoring game with the difference being 3 - 7 points.

I finished this book in a couple of days, but just haven't gotten around to writing a review.  Overall I thought it was good.  I think the actual ending could be in TOR game...the novel was basically written to give a backstory to the game.

This is the coolest thing in the line since the Turbo Tank, so there's no way I'm not going to support it.   

That's like saying someone is the tallest midget.  Sorry, I wasn't overly impressed with the Turbo Tank.

I think the MTT is an interesting choice, and I want to see more about it.  But I really don't know how I'd incorporate that thing into my collection room.

It seems to me that Nielsen won't exist in a few years. There is no way they can track DVR or internet usage. The networks themselves can grab the internet numbers. If I remember correctly, the Nielsen ratings comes from an extra cable box connected to the tv. It will know if you record a show but not if you actually watch it.

There is a box connected to the TV for some.  I once participated in the Nielsen ratings and they sent me a log book that I wrote down what shows I watched and at what times.  This was back in 200 or 2001, long before DVRs were popular.  If they are still using the logbook method, it would not be hard for them to update the way shows are logged to track DVR usage.

4 or 5 I think?  I might've traded 1 or 2 now that I think of it, but yeah...  I kinda went batty there.

That's one I wanted, but decided to get the Falcon instead.  I'm hoping for a re-release next year.

Also....check your listings for Saturday night.  It's replaying here at 10 pm, right after the local news.
