Good luck with it!  If I ever find my way up in Albany, I'll stop in for lunch.

Just what will the JD discount be?   ;D

These things look incredible!  Do they put cloth clothing on these or are the 100% sculpted?

I didn't like them at first either, but Ryan picked me up one at CIII.  I then went on a hunt to get all the Obi-Wan sabers.  I then joined the Collector's Society and got the Darth Maul mini-saber.  I then went and got a few of the Sith Sabers (Darth Tyranus, damaged Maul)  I then ordered a couple of the acrylic cases and then had to get a couple of acrylic cases, which had me buying a couple of the Anakin sabers just so that the cases are full!  These little sabers are addicting!

I'm glad the saber is growing on you.

Those .45 replicas are really cool.  I have a bunch and they were the first Master Replicas I collected.

They do have the LE version of Obi-Wan's ROTS saber in stock, they are a bit pricey, but worth it.

My ROTS Obi-Wan LE saber arrived today with it's nice low number of 3032!  ::)

I really like how this was done and wish I had started collecting these earlier.  I also like how the sabers now come with a black polishing cloth.  Great idea MR!

Now if I could just get a better acrylic case for the AOTC Obi-Wan LE saber I have.  :-\

This is not something I really collect, but I just saw some pictures of the new 3.75" diecast figures they are doing and I might have to pick these up!

As far as kid shows, my favorites were:

The Amazing Spider-Man.  You all know the themesong....I was excited to get the entire show on dvd last year.

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends-- Another great Saturday morning Favorite.

Bugs Bunny--hell, I still love the looney toons!

The Muppet Show--I should get these on dvd.

The Bugaloos-- I actually liked all of the Syd and Marty Kroft shows, but this one was my favorite of the bunch.

Voltron--What a great cartoon.  I used to watch it everyday after school.

I'm sure there's more that I'm missing.  I'll post them later.

I think it depends on what you want in your collection.  There are some very hard to get items, but it really just ends up being a packaging variation in the end.  A lot of the earlier figures were released on different colored cards, then with freeze frame slides.

There were some different actual figure variations, Brown Vest Luke Jedi, Boba Fett with half circles and full circles on his hands, and the the ever favorite long and short sabers, but I don't think any of these are "worth" a whole lot more than any other POTF2 figure these days.

My advice, just look around and try to get what you want.

Cool video....thanks for sharing.

I played a bunch of instant action games last night....just to get a feel for the levels before I actually play online.  I really like the improvements they've made on the game.  Earning points to play some of the more powerful characters and the Hero characters are great to play...and although they are powerful, they are far from undefeatable.

I also like that there are more types of games to play....more "traditional" multiplayer games like Capture the flag and such.  Although I was happy to just have the large scale battles in various Star Wars will be also kind of fun to play some CTF sometimes.

I think the space battles are where this game needs some improving.  Not that they are all that bad...but I've been struggling in them.  Granted, I haven't been playing them much, it's just my first impressions of the game.

Did anyone notice in one of the documentaries, the one about the evolution of Darth Vader, that they show the scene of Yoda in Episode I where he gives his speech about fear being a path to the darkside, but Yoda is pure CG and not the puppet?

Is that a hint for an extended edition of the films that MaCullum pointed out in the Delete Scenes intros?
