The ISS has always relied on the Shuttle for orbit correction.  The Shuttle can use its engines to correct the orbit much better than the ones on the station itself.

I just finished a course for my Master's Degree dealing with Aircraft and Spacecraft design and we spent a lot of time discussing the Shuttle and the ISS.  The Shuttle's engines are truly amazing and they were a huge challenge when they were designing the shuttle.  Not only for the thrust/power requirements, but they are also the first liquid propellent rocket engines that are reusable!

I remember the mission where the paint chip hit the shuttle's window and went about 3/4 inch into it.  It brought the issue of space-junk into light.  I think it happened in the late 80's (maybe early 90's) to Columbia if I recall correctly.

I doubt that's much to worry about.  It's nowhere near any of the leading edges and will not feel a fraction of the friction.

Funny stuff.  There were a few sites about the Lord of the Rings trilogy that did the same thing.

It's just hilarious to see how things can be translated like that.

Yep, that's it!  Great game with some good humor and puzzle solving.  There was also a series of Space Quest games that were fun.

Great news not just that they're going to do expanded universe figures, but that we get to be involved!

I'd like a 12" Grand Admiral Thrawn or a Noghri.  What would you like to see?

My nephew really enjoyed the wiggles when he was about 1.  Then he liked the teletubbies, and then Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine.

I got him into Spider-Man and Star Wars.  ;D

Cool stuff.  I especially like the Steins.  I have the SE Stein, but didn't know about any others made.

Who knows.  Possible though since these figures are definitely a modern version of the original EB set.

Should be pretty cool....can't wait for mine to show up.

Sirius Black's Brother?

I doubt it...Sirius' brother is dead and I'm willing to bet that R.A.B. is still alive.

I was agreeing with you in a round about way.  I don't see why people would want more than one in their collection.

I don't know why anyone would buy more than one of these unless it was to scalp it on ebay or something.  There may be some people that would get an extra for a friend who wasn't a Hyperspace member (Beth and other collectors come readily to mind), but they are in the minority I think.

All of the MR stuff I have purchased I only have one of with the exception of the ROTS .45 scale Obi-Wan saber, and that's only because my original order was back-ordered and I ended up seeing one at Best Buy and decided to grab it.

On another note, I just made a recent purchase.  I bought the LE Obi-Wan ROTS saber.  It's my first LE item I've purchased from them.  I hope they remake an AOTC or TPM Obi-Wan saber sometime.

I think those are actually space ages fly strips so they can help lower the number of mosquitos in the central Florida area.   :P

Star Wars Universe / Re: New Jedi Order!

That's cool Dafoo, and I see your point.  I just think they did a good job overall.

True there were some Jedi that they seemed to introduce just to kill off, then there were others that were in a few books and then they ended up making the ultimate sacrifice to save others.

As far as the Jedi not being able to use the force on the Vong....meh somewhat.  I thought they covered this well that the Jedi were going to have to come up with new tactics to defeat the Vong, which they eventually started doing.  The stuttering fire to defeat the dovin basils as well as the Jedi using the force to push proton torpedoes through space...I think they called them shadow bombs.
