Looks like Matt's getting the Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Baked Beans, Spam, Spam and Spam.  Only instead of baked beans he's getting Spam!

My yahoo mail gets a lot, but luckily, they have a decent spam filter so it all goes to a bulk mailbox.

And here I thought spinning was what my nephew likes to do in my desk chair.

The loud "WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" is optional.  ;D

I'm definitely glad that I joined, and am allowed to contribute, to these forums.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Rebelscum Spam Mail? WTF???
« on: April 11, 2005, 03:37 PM »

Matt Fury posted a goodbye thread, and while some of us expressed our regret, some of the newbies went on the attack about him being childish.  I got into a heated argument with a couple of them.

I went to check to see who had posted into that thread today and was shocked that it was deleted, along with the one going on in the feedback thread.  I had put a lot of thought into that goodbye, since I had been in there for five years, and didn't want it to turn into some sort of flame war.

I replied to the banning e-mail and told Philip that I didn't appreciate it being deleted, he could've just had it locked.  Oh well, he can run his little fiefdom into the ground for all I care.

12" Figures / Re: Your 12" Figure Collection .
« on: April 10, 2005, 05:18 PM »
I have about 30 or so figures, ranging from POTF2 to ROTS.  I have no desire to be a 12" completeist....I just get the ones I find interesting, like just about anyone who holds a lightsaber!

Some of my favorite pieces:

- Biker Scout with Speeder Bike
- Darth Maul with Sith Speeder (although I have the original 12" Darth Maul on the Speeder)
- Electronic Darth Vader
- Medicom Luke

As funny as the story has a bit of a sad ending.

Even MY cat, Bailey look a little upset about it.  :'(

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: A question about Paypal & Visa
« on: April 10, 2005, 12:06 PM »
Paypal is pretty safe to use, and from what I've heard, very good at getting refunds if you end up dealing with a bad seller.

So whichever you decide to use, I'm sure you're covered.

A while back in the RS forums, someone posted a link to something similar to that case, but it hung on the wall.  They purchased one or two and had all their loose figures in them.  I thought it was a great idea, although I still have yet to get one for myself.
