Watto's Junk Yard / Firefly / Serenity
« on: July 15, 2005, 09:37 PM »
I never watched this show when it was on Fox, but I saw the trailer for the movie Serenity when I saw ROTS.

I'e been thinking about getting a set of the Firefly show on dvd to see it, but I just saw that the Sci Fi channel will be showing the entire series starting next Friday.

Anyone here ever watch the show before?  It looks pretty cool, but I'd like to hear a review from someone who's seen it before.  Spoiler free please.

Thought I'd bump this up since the new book will be available at midnight.  I was going to wait until the morning to go get it, but I'll be on alert tomorrow.

Also, my local theater already has the teaser poster for Goblet of Fire up in the lobby.

No kidding!  I live right in Ft Collins!

I never knew that the fake-boob black market was so lucrative!

Couldn't swing moving to Colorado eh?  ;D

This is awesome news!  I've admired Sideshow's quality in their recent 1/4 scale figures, and it looks like we'll get some great figures with close to medicom/marmit quality with a pricepoint that's closer to Hasbro's!

I'm glad we're not in April.

Cool news Beth.

Where are you moving to??

I've got all but the Emperor/Anakin and the Dooku/Maul sets.

And those are two I REALLY want!   ;D

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: So how many times have you seen it?

I'm now up to 10 times.

Which is how many times I saw the other two prequel movies in the theater.

My advice to you about Luke's Belt...I clasped mine without putting it on Luke first, let it sit for a couple of days (I had that kind of time) and then put it on the Luke figure.  It seemed to go on a lot easier that way.

By the way, explosions are bad and people should stop exploding things.

Crap....and that's what I get paid to do!

Looks like the surfint will be good on the East coast!  :o

When I lived near Cape Hatteras in NC, I'd track all the hurricanes/tropical storms so I knew when the best waves would arrive.

Congrats Bill. Beautiful girl, is this your first?

Jasmine has an older sister Julia.  She's 3 and a half, and very happy to finally meet her sister.  :)

Wow!  Another wedding you're gonna have to pay for!   ;D

Congrats dude!

Wow!  That is by far the best price I've seen for one!   ;D

Awesome!  I haven't heard anything yet, but hopefully mine's on the way soon as well!
