They probably put 100 times more effort into creating that poster than they did the plot.

Oh God Jim!  So sorry for your loss!

I think I'm the only one who wasn't bothered by Varys' quick trip.  He was in Dorne, it's called the Narrow Sea for a reason, and Danares wasn't going to move without knowing he had secured allies in Westeros.

All hail Jon Targaryen...King of the North!

I'm hoping with a successful Rogue One (I have a friend who can't stand anything JJ Abrahms, but is looking forward to seeing RO), that we can finally see something akin to either the 7 Samurai or 47 Ronin with Jedi.

I forgot to mention that in the aftermath of the Battle of the bastards, Ramsey proved Roose wrong when he thought that he'd never amount to ****.

It's not only going to be just seven episodes, but they're the last seven episodes.

I read somewhere that there are two more seasons.

This week's episode will be just Brann is the producer's basement since they have no money from the FX budget left.   :D

Rogue One / Re: Re: Rogue One Toy Rumors

While I loved the playsets that came out with Vintage (the Death Star was one of my favorite toys as a kid), I honestly wonder how seomething like that would be received today.

I have the Mustafarr playset from ROTS and think it's a decent effort, much like the AOTC Geonosis Arena.  Both of those were not received that well.

She was always fun to talk to.

I always wondered why Luke didn't just run up behind each walker and cut their legs out from under them with his lightsaber when I was a kid.

It would have blown the FX budget.   :D

Turns out I was cancer in her intestines and spleen.  At least we were there to say goodbye.

I might be going through exactly the same thing you are Rob.  We took Cora in for emergency exploratory surgery today because an x-ray showed a mass on her spleen.  If it's benign, they'll remove the spleen and she'll live for a long while.  If it's malignant, they give her 1 - 3 months, and if it's spread to other organs they will euthanize her on the operating table today.

I may have said goodbye to my dog for the last time this morning.

Sorry for your loss, Rob.  Take some time to grieve, and when you're ready, there will be a dog just waiting to give you their love and devotion!

I just got back from Apocalypse and thought they did a good job overall.  I saw some reports that people were complaining about Sophie Turner's accent, but I thought she did a good job.  I also love how they handle Quicksilver's power!  It was awesome in Days of Future Past and it's just as enjoyable here!

Star Wars Anthology / Re: Rogue One (SPOILERS)

It's just a way to sell more product.  ;)

I'll be interested in seeing how these walkers perform in the grand scheme of things.  Will they be easier to destroy (lighter armor?) than the ATs?  To me, it felt like the Rebels first encountered the ATs on Hoth (even though they knew of them) since they had inadequate firepower to take them down and only realized using the tow cables would work if they could get close enough.  The Rebels seemed unsure of how to defeat them.

My read on that was that the speeders couldn't take them down.  I thought perhaps an X-wing or Y-wing could do it, but they needed the X-wings to escort the transports.  Never saw a Y-wing on Hoth.
