Other Collectibles / Re: BB-8 App Enabled Droid by Sphero

New feature added today.  You can now watch the movie with your BB-8.  There are pop-ups on the pohone identifying characters when they come on screen, BB-8 will act surprised during action sequences and look away when something scares him.

My 5 year old thought it was pretty cool.  I agree with him!  :D

Bill, the way I read it was that they've been reconning Alexandria for a while.  They knew where the group was headed and had the manpower and equipment to block them no matter what they did.  That's why Rick is so scared at the end of the episode, they jad no idea the size and capabilities of the Saviors.

To be fair...we did get a big death...we just have to wait until October to see who it is.   ::)

I did like the build up to the Negan reveal...it was a great way to illustrate that Rick and Co had no idea who or what they were dealing with in regards to the saviors.

I enjoyed the Morgan/Carol story as well...looks like the Saviors took care of whoever was holding up in that library as well and we got another glimpse of the folks from the Kingdom.  I can't wait to see who they cast as Ezekiel.

It's definitely going to be a long wait until October...but at least Fear starts up next week, then Preacher, then humans, then Halt and catch Fire....

I kind of agree, Tracy, but I also think the show might have someone else meet Lucille just to throw comic fans for a loop.

Honestly, this show has diverged from the comic in very significant ways.

Great start Nick!  I can't seem to get past the "organized chaos" of my collection room.  At least in our new house I have it all in one room!

That Evo Trooper is an interesting repaint.

I'm pretty sure that the Obi-Wan came from some sort of set in either EPI or POTJ.  That's the only reason for the baggie.

TV-9D9 / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Season 2 (Spoilers)

The way they keep bringing back Darth Maul gives me hope that Han Solo will be in Episode VIII.  Seriously...he was cut in half and fell into one of the bottomless pits that seem to be everywhere in the Star wars Universe!

I did like the face off between Vader and Asohka...even though I wish she had never been in the Rebels cartoon (I never liked the newer clone wars cartoons because of the Hanna Montana Jedi, also making Anakin Skywalker a Master in the first episode thereby negating his motivations in Revenge of the Sith).

I'm curious to see how Kanan heals from his injuries and curious to see the journey down the dark path the writers have put Ezra on.

I think we got our first look at someone from the Kingdom tonight.

From the reviews I've read so far, the casting is good...their performances are, for the most part, bad and the story is horrendous.

Trying to jam everything into one movie to try and create a DC cinematic universe ruins the movie.

They need to take the Marvel/Disney approach and build up the DCCU over time...too bad the people in charge don't see that.

It was poorly done CG that killed KOTCS. The badly done jungle chase and monkeys. The groundhogs. The ant hill. The waterfalls. Why couldn't they have just gone to a real location more often and film? Marion looked old and had nothing to do. Mutt started off ok but just got stupid along the way.

And the crap story telling, the aliens, the stupid looking skulls, the horrible casting, etc.

Anyone else disturbed at what happened in the back room of the pharmacy?

I'm expecting to see something on an upcoming episode of Airplane Repo.  They sometimes steal back cars too.  :D

Saw 10 Cloverfield Lane last night...good flick, taut, well paced...still no clue how it is supposed to tie back to the first movie.  ???

I enjoyed it as well.  I can kind of see how it ties into the "Cloververse"  (should I copyright that?), but I don't want to got too into the details until everyone has seen it.

Watching this show is becoming a chore.  There's no real tie-in to the movies (with the exception of Season 1 and Captain America: Winter Soldier), and it's just not very good television.

Not the Marvel Netflix shows.....  ;D
