The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Anakin Skywalker - The Role
« on: April 22, 2016, 04:52 PM »
I think, from a story standpoint, that Anakin should've been much older in TPM.  Wehn the council said he was too ald at 10 years old seemed really weak to me...especially since Luke didn't start formally training until he was much older than Anakin was in the TPM.

Start with an older actor in the role, then have people around George Lucas that had the stones to tell him that certain ideas were stupid, then the prequels would have been awesome!

That sucks Paul.  I'm still working on assembly of mine, as soon as I get some magnets I'll finally start gluing!

It's a labor of love and my 5 year old loves it!

While Han is an icon though, I'm not sure I'd compare him with Fett.  I want a new Endor Han badly but does the world?  At the same time Boba basically is in the same outfit and people will rebuy him over and over.  He appeals to kids now as much as ever...  He is just riding that "he looks cool" factor.  Do today's new fans want new Hans though?  I dunno.  I know OT Boba wasn't in any of the PT films but my kids at the time wanted a Boba figure pretty badly.

Why don't you like the current Endor Han?  Did I miss that review?

Look like the Asian girl from the shorts is the survivor and new cast member.

If you don't die by falling into a bottomless pit after being cut in half...then no one is dead.

Because she's busy with the sequel.

You have to look at that through the lense of:

-At the time, Darth Vader was not Luke's father.

-There was no Yoda.

Both of those concepts were created when they were writing Empire Strikes Back.

No.  I think the phone or tablet picks up the sound of the movie and BB-8 reacts.  You just have to have the app on and BB-8 on his charger.

I still enjoy the show...but you have to watch it with the filter of these people barely have a clue as to what is going on.  That would esplain why Chris is still upset that Travis shot his mother (even though she practically begged him to in the season finale)...he doesn't understand that a zombie bite is fatal.

The daughter is this show's Lori.  She has put the Abigale in so much danger...honestly someone should slap Travis across the face for suggesting she listen to the radio to try and find a safe haven and not explicitly instruct her to leave the mic the hell alone!  The entire time she's using that thing I'm just saying, "they're triangulating your position which each broadcast".

Being on the Abigal is a short term solution at best anyway.  They're going to need fuel soon as well as other supplies.  trust me, these folks are going to go ape**** the second they run out of toilet paper....they just don't have any survival instincts yet.

Man I keep watching it...  So much good in there.  RFT's with maybe MP armbands on?  Lotta nods that the Battlefront Rebels are what Rebel "Troopers" look like going on too...  Looks like Dodonna behind Mothma there too, I think.  Seeing Yavin IV like that, it's just so weird.  Weird seeing it again, seeing it bustling...  Did the base largely evac before ANH?  Where's everyone wind up?

Saw a lot of familiar REbel Pilot helmet logos, and saw some other colored jumpsuits too...  Saw makeshift stuff for welding/work tables...  It's very very much everything I always thought the Rebellion would look like.  I'm just giddy.

Jesse's hope for a decent RFT figure is possibly renewed!  :D

New feature added today.  You can now watch the movie with your BB-8.  There are pop-ups on the pohone identifying characters when they come on screen, BB-8 will act surprised during action sequences and look away when something scares him.

My 5 year old thought it was pretty cool.  I agree with him!  :D

Bill, the way I read it was that they've been reconning Alexandria for a while.  They knew where the group was headed and had the manpower and equipment to block them no matter what they did.  That's why Rick is so scared at the end of the episode, they jad no idea the size and capabilities of the Saviors.
