Definitely a good episode, I'm glad to see Abraham, Eugene and Rosita are pretty true to form from the comic.

This whole "Darth Icky" nonsense reads as beyond ridiculous at face value.  And it really left me wondering about a couple of things.

First, is the story legit?  Without knowing any of the sources involved it's tough to make that judgement.  If it's all true it has to leave you with some serious questions about just what GL was thinking.

And second?  Is it possible this happened but GL had ulterior motives in judging things?  Because the names alone sound preposterous.  To a degree that it comes across like some sort of put-on.  Is it possible that GL went into this meeting with a totally ridiculous proposal in an effort to judge his own people?  Had he grown in stature to the point that nobody within his companies was prepared to challenge him on his creative ideas?  To someone with a background like his own that would probably seem like he had finally become what he had railed against in his younger days:  a studio apparatus that was out of touch with the work of the people on the artistic front lines.  Lucas's work with Francis Coppolla and American Zoetrope tried to buck that Hollywood system in an effort to do something new and different in film.  And effectively the Star Wars films, with the exception of the first, wound up being independent films.  But Star Wars had grown into something SO BIG that it seems like George Lucas had become the very thing that he had fought against for so much of his career.  It must be an eye-opening thing to be in a position where nobody will speak truth to power, and YOU are the power.

So, witness the sale of Star Wars/Lucasfilm to Disney.  And the fact that GL is going to be putting the bulk of that money towards philanthropic pursuits.  That, combined with the fact that he's stated that he wants to work on small, independent films say to me that GL probably recognized that this thing had grown far beyond even his own imagination, and perhaps it was time to move on since he couldn't find people that would be partners with him in a creative collaboration.

If only he had sold the franchise in 1997.

What a shame that those games were not developed properly.  Hell, I'm still disappointed that KOTOR II was released unfinished (still a fun game though).

This ship arrived earlier in the week and it looks fantastic!  I've always wanted one in my collection ever since they created the pod cannons, and to have them all in one package is awesome!  Although the clone pilot and the Yoda are pretty lame, the phase one clone that comes with it is awesome as well as the rifle and carbine with paint apps on them!

I purchased a couple of more TBS Clone Pilots to fill out the ship and put my other two phase one clones from my two evolutions sets in it and it looks really good.  I might get another phase one clone from somewhere to put an entire squad in it for deployment, but it barely has the room!  :D

Can someone explain why the younger girl's shoe was at the scene of the walker attack when Daryl got there, but she was still wearing them as they walked down the train tracks?

Thanks, I was wondering that too and never could figure it out.

RE: the bus - maybe it just ran out of gas? Esp if the bullets hit the gas tank...just thinking out loud.

I figured Glenn had just passed out from exertion back at the prison, he is still in pretty rough shape getting over that virus.
They were showing different segments out of sequence.  It illustrates that the survivors are all somewhat near each other and their paths keep crossing, but they have yet to link up.

If you notice, there are bullet holes in the back of the bus....it was being shot up as they were driving away.  My guess is that some people in the back were killed, turned, bit others and no one got out in time.  The folks on the bus were a lot of the old and others recovering from the infection.

Great episode and awesome to see that there's a hint of another sanctuary out there as well as seeing Abraham Eugene and Rosita!

I think you should read them.  The show is different enough at this point where, although you'll get a sense of what might be coming, the show will still surprise you.

I know.  If you look closely, you'll see items from The Phantom Menace too.   :-X

TPM is a little more forgivable...f course this is coming from a guy who has an entire shelf dedicated to the Gungan vs Battle Droid ground battle!  :D

"On AMC's The Walking Dead, anyone can die at any time! Except Rick, because it's his story, and except Daryl, because he's the bad-boy that the ladies love, and Michonne, too, 'cause she looks cool with her sword and whatnot. And probably Maggie, 'cause she's the only hot piece of ass on the show. Everyone else is fair game!"

Just an aside.  If you read the comics, although it is Rick's story...he's been through a hell of a lot of ****!

I'm hoping beyond hope that they Hire Adywan (of Star Wars: Revisited fame) to handle all things previously released.

anyway episode was kinda what was expected nothing dramatic was really going to happen although i thot we'd see more of rest of grp or at least a hint. so i guess the disappointment was really that there wasn't too much to expect. and probably nothing really for rest of the season if there is only like 7 more to go, it'll mostly be about who survived and how/if they meet up. the only thing i can think that'll be climactic/dramatic is confirmation of Judith death, finding Carol alive and well and her rejoining grp. after hershel death i don't think we'll see anymore major cast member deaths.

I forgot to mention that Conan had a TWD episode last week with all the major characters (except Andrew Lincoln who was sick and could not attend).  The girl who plays Carol was there....I knew we'd be seeing her again.
