Saga Collection '06 / Re: Battle of Endor Wave

-SA Dressellian Commando...  No eyepatch, or at least an eyepatch you can take off for a neutral or Orrimarko figure.  Softgoods cape would rock too, so you could put the hood up.

-Rebel in Bikerscout Disguise...  If they did an SA Bikerscout, I'd dig this character down the line.  Removable helmet, and I'd be set.

Great ideas! I love comming across these little jems...

The guy who reported the contents of this wave (before Comic-con I might add) is fairly reliable. He actually has seen this wave's card back which has a picture of all 6 figures. I can say with 100% certainty that Boba is not the VOTC Boba Fett. I looks like it's the Pit of Carkoon Boba. :P

Strange that they sort of confirmed the POTF2 version at the Q and A,

Really? I would have thought the Hasbro's reps heads would have been carried out on pikes if thay had confirmed that. ;)

I'm glad I waited to order, now I can order two. The new image is much improved, but I would still liked to have seen the newer helemt repainted. That shouldn't have been too hard. ::)

Yeah I saw the report from the clerk at the convention.

I don't believe if for a second though

Based on my experience, I don't think it's to unreasonable to belive that what the clerks said is true. I mean, I don't know for 100% certain, but I do know that when maquette scuplts were made for the characters of the animated TV series I was working on, the models that were sent to our show's creators to approve were the only existing reference models according to the manufacturer.

More importantly, as long as we keep buying the 3 3/4" line it should be around. ;)

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing them upgrade some of the figures from the POTF2 range as well.  Sculpting has really improve quite a bit in some cases compared to the figures from those lines.

We'll have to start a wish list of those guys too... ;D

These sets just keep getting better every time I turn around. You know, Hasbro get s a lot of guff from us, but I think this is one of those instances where they deserve a huge round of applause because these sets just rock!

I guess no one asked Hasbro if we're ever going to get one released domestically, huh? :P

I don't think I have room for any more any ships. :P

However, everyone seems to be forgetting that we're getting a properly scaled MF from Attkus this year. Well, at least half of it.

Thanks for the link! Interesting read on many levels.  To bad no one asked about the deluxe.
