Wouldn't a #6 clone have more working parts though? What kind of configuration and or mechanizm is used to get the quickdraw action?

Saga Collection '06 / Re: The Future of Star Wars Collecting
« on: July 12, 2005, 02:17 PM »

This is really the way I see it - the upcoming ATTAKUS Line that is going to have some stuff in the 3-3/4 scale is probably going to be extremely expensive and that Death Star scene is going to be out of the price range of most.

Not to mention all the spacial issues. :P

I'm not into the uber-expensive stuff, but this line is really tempting. Is it 3 3/4" or close to? I've head they can't do a proper/exact 3 3/4" scale due to conficts with Hasbro's rights to that scale. Is this true or am I getting improper info?

Saga Collection '06 / Re: VOTC and OTC Returns in 2006!

Some figure could stand to be repacked, but they never seem to re-pack the right ones like Motti or even Sio Bibble. I'm hoping that the packaging samples that these are being peported form are still a work in progress because I'd love to see the Barada from Luke and Han's Skiff in stead of the one we already have.

Found A VOTC Boba Fett at Target this morning. The clearance price was $0, but they charged me $5. :P Still, not a bad trade item.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Battle Packs (5 figure sets)
« on: July 11, 2005, 06:48 PM »
Okay, here's the rub-  Remember how easy it was to get Eopie?

These sets are numbers 4 and 5. What happens when the first three sets don't sell well? It's the same thing over and over again. The Hoth and Jedi Tempel set have the potential of selling well, but they come after lame sets like the Jedi Vs sith and Rebels Vs Empire packs.  :P

Can you give us an idea of the pairings you saw Anton?

Regarding the Bail/Bail pack,  I saw it and it was obviouly swapped out in the store with the Clone gunner.

From memory, here goes the list of pairings,

Bail/Gunner
Chooper droid/Polis
Agen/Shaak
Agen/Mas
Plo Koon/Saesee
Luminara/Ki-Adi

Edited to refect more accurate pairings.

This would've been a GREAT release when the DVD's were released.  TESB is loved by many and the bounty hunter scene is one of the coolest scenes from the trilogy.

Seriously.

Thank goodness there are no new figures in it though.

But at least we all agree that the people that do these horrible things to innocent civilians are wrong.

 :P

Absolutely.

Just understand that there are many people, including most of the world (and me,) who think that our actions are making it worse and are offended by the thought that people believe that our countries actions are justified, just like there are those who are offended by the fact that many americans do not support the war. Let's just not push any buttons. :-X

Peace.

These have finally show up at my TRU. Nice to see some method to the madness, lots of the same pairings. Too bad they're not taking them out of the same store though. :P

At least the hard part about getting these is getting to a Disney theme park. Once you're in, they seem to always have them. I'm heading down in October. With a little arm twisting, I might be able to help a few guys out...
