Temperature effects on figures?

I've never heard much about light having an impact though I have heard that flourescent is better, but not sure why.

they don't get as hot though, and if your stuff is close to light sources, heat from them can easily be an issue.  Regular bulbs get quite hot to the touch, but ultimately so do flourescent bulbs.  Good to keep figures a distance away.

LED lights are generally cooler, if you're looking for display lighting that may be closer to figures.
