Loose Dagobah Landing Luke Images

 Toys R Us Sale: 2/27 - 3/5
Toys R Us is running another 2-For-$10.99 sale on action figures. As usual, this doesn't include Vintage Collection, just Legends and Clone Wars (and other lines like G.I. Joe, etc.). Also we've heard reports that the Battle Over Endor pilot sets have seen the typical price bump from Toys R Us, now to $29.99. Enjoy!

Wal-Mart Pricing Variety
It's that time of year. The time of year when Wal-Mart has a huge clearance aisle for toys, and when the prices marked don't always reflect the actual cost. I've recently noticed price discrepencies on Clearance Toys, Vintage Collection, Clone Wars, and Legends, so scan it first so you don't miss out on a potential deal or headache while in line!

K-Mart Joins The Fun
It was really only a matter of time, but welcome K-Mart to the price increase party. Figures went from $8.99 to $9.99 today. K-Mart's Rewards Program helps bring that price down though, but it's still better than other retailers asking $10 to $11 for their Star Wars Vintage figures. Will collectors push back by buying less, or possibly quitting? Time will tell.

This week the Clone Wars Deluxe Vehicles are 50% off at Toys R Us ($34.99), so now is a great time to pick up the overpriced ships you waited on! Also this week's ad states, "All Other Star Wars on Sale", though we're not sure what all that may mean exactly. Stop in and report your finds!
UPDATE: And just to update, ToysRUs.com is having a President's Day Sale, 20% off Star Wars Figures. It's slim pickings though, but check it out!

The Official Site revealed the only villain other than the Emperor to have any kind of power over Darth Vader, as the next new character on The Clone Wars series. It's none other than Captain Tarkin, who will debut in the new story-arc Citadel. This could be pretty interesting for Tarkin fans like myself!

The Hollywood Reporter has a nice article up about how well the Star Wars brand did in the toy aisle this past year. Lucasfilm said it's the best year since 2005's Revenge of the Sith push. At today's prices though, I'd be disappointed with anything less if I were them. Check out the story for more details.
