I picked up these the other night too, and I'm generally impressed...
-Malak... Fantastic figure in general. Super articulated, the eyes are NOT goofy on mine at all (very menacing), and the removable jaw is really great. If you played the game, you know the scene the jaw comes off, and it's really f'd up.
-Revan... Not so fantastic, but still a great figure. Lacks leg articulation below the hips, which is undoubtebly due to the skirt piece, however I'm disappointed we didn't get knee joints still. They would work somewhat, if even in a limited capacity, and would allow for a little more dynamic posing. Still, the upper body is great, and you see his sithy skull behind the mask. Very cool. I'm still pumped to do a Revan/Character custom from the game.
-Pre-Cyborg Grievous (or Prevous?)... Great figure. Very large, amazing sculpt, nice removable headgear and cloak, nice accessories in general. I was slightly disappointed at the arm articulation, as he cannot hold his rifle properly, but the figure in general is pretty great, and even sort of worth army building if you want some of Grievous' people for your hypothetical Separatist sentient's army. At least I'm assuming they're Seps, so I might nab a handful to use as Grievous followers/troopers.
-Yoda w/Kybuck... Hasbro outdoes itself in terms of figure for the money. The Kybuck has some assembly required, but it's a great (and articulated) piece in and of itself. A cool little bio on the back describes the beast and its relationship with Yoda. Yoda's softgoods cape is incredibly cool and I dig how it points up on his noggin'. The bandoleer holding his saber hilt is removable and equally cool, and Yoda's articulation is decent. He can't hold a saber 2-handed, my only gripe, but otherwise it's a fantastic Yoda figure in and of itself, and great with the Kybuck.
-Roron... OUTSTANDING figure. Super articulated, super sculpted, super detailed. He's just a great figure, and really makes his Jedi Talz teammate look kind of shoddy by comparison actually.
-Tattoonakin... Again, another outstanding figure. Able to hold his saber with two hands, and the destroyed mechanical hand is a cool extra piece to snap onto the figure (though be careful, I've found that the peg could probably snap off easily. Run it under hot tap water to soften things up if you're afraid of breaking it). The articulation isn't as nice as Roron's, and the pants aren't the proper color either (annoying), but overall a fantastic figure again.
I didn't get the Starkiller Hero. In my neck of the woods, anything you find is usually lacking UGH and McQuarrie's all together. Sucks, but it seems our Hot Wheels scum are starting to catch onto what's hot in SW, or so I'm hearing from the locals who run into them frequently.
I've also found a few Wave 4 figures... Or, Hermi and 3PO anyway, and Hermi's one of my '07 favorites, easily. I've waited on the Apple Eater for years, and he's great. No LUke's, no CZ's, no McVader, no Umpass, and no AniFett's. All in due time I hope.
