TV-9D9 / Re: The Book of Boba Fett (SPOILERS possible)

If that show is going to be any good, two things need to happen IMO.

1) Don’t let Robert Rodriguez anywhere near it.
2) Get back to Boba Fett’s roots.  Go be a badass bounty hunter instead of a local crime lord who “rules with respect.”

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I've been thinking about how a second season might happen, if at all.  My own take?

I see the potential for something akin to The Godfather Part III - Boba Fett is Michael, and just when he thought he was out of the Bounty Hunter's guild and working for gangsters, they pull him back in!  Perhaps that means something to do with the Hutt twins?  Or a possible conflict with some of the bounty hunters we saw in TESB?  And a threat to the peace on Tatooine.  You certainly have to think that the tag scene at the end of the final episode was teasing the return of Cobb Vanth in some capacity.

UNRELATED...

I've been checking out some fan made YouTube videos about the new Disney+ era of shows.  And this one keeps referencing the planet where Luke set up his Jedi academy as Ossus.  While there's nothing about Ossus on the official site, Wookieepedia seems to go along with that notion.  The planet has some old school EU backstory.  And I wonder what fans of that old EU material might think about this kind of connective tissue between EU stories that might have involved Exar Kun and Ulic Qel Droma, up to the Disney+ shows and the Sequel trilogy?

Stop what you're doing and go see Spider-Man Across the Spider-verse right now.

Unless you haven't seen Into the Spider-Verse yet....slap yourself for not seeing that movie and then watch it before you take your ass to the theater to see Across the Spider-Verse.

Lucked out and found Paploo and Chewie at a Walmart that must have just put out a fresh case. Wave complete! Glad I did not resort to paying the ridiculous $26.99 that Amazon and GameStop are trying to charge for these.

All this tracks with what I got… I already returned it and am waiting on a replacement.  Hopefully it’s correct.  I didn’t think to take a photo… but I don’t think it had a satchel.  Must have just been a straight up regular Indy on this card.  I kind of wish the bubble was attached, someone might have wanted the error…

This list really makes me wish there was a Stan Solo equivalent out there making modern 3.75” scale beasts. I want all of these, but we will be lucky to get any of them with Hasbro’s recent aversion to releasing new creatures in the line. (Or even rereleasing existing creatures if we are honest.)

Here are the results for this round:

All of these are great choices and it makes me sad that it could be years before we see any of them get made.

The Blurrg felt like such a no-brainer when Season 1 of Mando hit.  They could have released it packed with Kuiil and then again with Mando.  I guess we live in a different time now though. :(

The GI Joe team is set to announce a new G.I. Joe Classified Series HasLab project on June 5th.  I wonder how the timing and price of that will potentially affect the rumored Ghost/TVC HasLab project?

Hasbro Star Wars team better be planning something special to market this campaign because it might be a tall order for a $600 Ghost to come along after the casual fans have spent all their summer money buying up whatever is coming to go along with that Classified Series HISS Tank.
