So many Q's....
1) Does Hasbro have any thoughts of hasbroshop or starwarsshop smaller cheaper exclusives of things like Accesory packs (misc weapons) stands, (generic clear from Battlepacks, the plain movie named current versions, or the terrain stands of OTC/E3?)
2) Any plans for smaller pieced together vehicles (speeders, etc) like how the Marvel figures have pieces packaged with basic figures to create a larger non-standard figure.
3) Any plans for any kind of consistancy? Things like a nice Cody with bad lower legs when perfectly non-posed legs are availabel on many other clones. Some figures that are SA that don't really need to be, and some that should be, that are pre-posed. Some figures have stiffer plastic guns/helmets/spears, while the near same sculpt of another pack-in is the cheap rubbery droopy plastic.

Just Sunday my Hunt for Grev pre-order was changed from shipping June 6th to shipping August 4th (my birthday). I left the order open, but will cancel it if me or any local buddies find them first...because I'm sure Amazon will cancel it anyway...
I just cancelled my Coruscant wave last week from EE, because I've found everythign in that case already...I'll prob be doing the same with the Tatooine wave...

Are low numbers desirable? I know some #ed collectables are more desired if they are low numbers (<100) or 'special numbers'. Ar ethe mini busts any more desirable with low #'s? I have a ROTS Vader #23 of 20,000 I'm putting up for trade, (see trade forum)

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Ordering TSC Figures by the Case?

As soon as Rick posted VSTC for pre-order I ordered them, then I waited deciding on the Coruscant wave and I waited too long because New Force had them listed as sold out of pre-orders. So I ordered that case from EE. I asked Rick a few times about the Tatooine Wave and he hadn't had anything up yet, so tonite I ordered it at EE. $10 more but it's better having the peace of mind....and saving time and gas.
Me along with some local friends have had a few orders not get fulfilled because of Hasbros allotments to NFC. We've had plenty fulfilled though and Rick is great to deal with, and an all around great guy, but I'm afraid months after the figures are out my order will be cancelled and I'll have to resort to ebay, and more headaches than if I'd paid the extra $10 to EE. Literally for 2 weeks my Target has had ONE hook for figures...and I have not seen anything new on my sid eof town for months. I wa sout of town this week and saw most of the Coruscant wave (even grabbed scorch because my case is supposed to have an UGH Scorch) So with the situation in my part of town, I'm just going to order cases, and any leftovers and UGH's will be used for trade bait for things I need (like Vader UGH and Vader an dYOda out of HEroes and Villains) or will go to the 'bay.
So short story...EE for cases. worth the extra $10.

Ahhh...apparently someone has his flying monkeys out....
First off, Bryan is no friend of mine, he had nothing at all to do with it. nor did Alex, BW, DJ or anyone else you might assume. The subject came up about how your Master talks down to people. I thought it'd be funny to point that out...It was.
I was just trying to point out that someone people blindly support because of an inundation of free ads on a popular site, is not worthy of peoples $30 vote...of course facts and good questions are called FLAMES and are erased from 'scum as soon as they are posted. Sieg Heil....Someone was a huge ego but ultra thin skin. I was going to post the whole disertation but 3 minutes later that account was closed...then today I noticed my home account was closed. Nice...class acts. Can't take any criticism. Funny stuff. Makes me laugh, anyway. I wish Smentek was higher on the boards, he's a REAL class act, unfortunately he doesn't have a huge money hungry site playing censor and wanting all the publicity. So who supported Dustin today for a free 'scum "news" ad? I don't know because I joined the many and erased that site from my bookmarks, like I did a long time ago with Sir Sleeze's site...I feel cleaner already.

I forgot to mention one of my favorite flame wars on OSWCC. The Vintage Collecting "Inner Circle" think they are geeks that are above us moderm collectors because, as Dustin said Modern collectors are just Walmart shoppers, where the vintage collectors have had to work at building their collection through networking...
Sorry D-bag...I never found an Eopie, or FAO Maul speeder game or other many things at a Walmart...but you can't argue with them. They are always right...

But with all these daily ads 'promoting' Dustin, (making me want to read more and more alternative SW sites) I figured I'd through in my 2 cents...with the help of some others. We think it’d be great to have a guy that manages to make collecting so much NOT FUN for local people...if they disagree with him or the "inner circle" not to mention how he speaks to his fellow club members publicly when they disagree...I submit for your perusal...something that was dug up and sent to me...this is only the last part of the flame, but the best part. Personally, I'd endorse that crazy guy from North Korea first...
The Back story involved the Planning of the Summer Annual OSWCC geekfest, where nerds from all over Ohio leave Mama's basement, not to go to Target or Walmart but to meet other geeks…The member berated by D was a musician and offered to perform his music at the gathering…the next Slammed Club president (you know he’ll win, he has friends that would love to buy fan club memberships for friends for a years worth of free advertising) publicly berated his 'fellow collector' because he didn't like him...nice guy.

Below is my detailed list of Carded figures I want (need) to get rid of. I went and made a thorough inventory and added notes on variations, etc. Most are in Star Cases. My need list is at the bottom. My Need List is small, so I hope to trade first, sell second...what's left goes to Ebay next week.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Are your Collecting Habits going to change with the new Saga Line?

I already have with the Final 12 . I used to collect EVERY variation (non-error) of a figure, repaints etc. now I am getting rid of the repaints, and minor retools and not buying any new ones, except droids or troopers. no wookies, no neimoidians, no Cat Miin or Passel, (I will get holo versions, as in my view they are a different figure) which leaves me only buying half of TSC figures from each wave (except repacked Vaders, Fett and Yoda's since I collect them all carded also.)
I realized I do not need things like 3 versions of the Tusken sniper...the POTJ, the Saga with Massif and the OTC. or a Luke pilot, with or with out buck teeth. Back in 2000 I realize di didn't need everythign carded either....now that was a liberating change. I figured I'd get a few of my favorite figures to keep carded and the rest loose.
