One other element I loved at the end of episode 12 was when Major Partagaz was listening to the rebel manifesto, discussing its spread with the other ISB officer, and then he ended it all.

I also loved how they were able to get some of the original actors from Rogue One to appear in the last few episodes at the Yavin 4 base - General Draven, black woman on Yavin 4 rebel council, and the communications operator.

Just finished it up and I have to say the last three (really five) episodes were just about perfect.  I absolutely loved nearly all parts.

I still think they could have sped up some of the first six or so episodes, but overall the second season was fantastic.

I so want some random Imperial dudes in partial Stormtrooper kits like the squad was wearing while raiding on Coruscant.

And seeing Dedra on Narkina 5 was totally unexpected, and awesome.  I did not expect her to go out that way.  The Empire she loved, that she gave everything for, totally screwed her.  Its perfect.

Yesterday, I spoke to a shop owner who's been in business for over 10 years and found out his distributors had their shipments from China cancelled. Don't know what he's going to do or how long he'll be able to stay open. It's not like he's got oodles of product stocked up. It's like fate saying "we would prefer you just start smoking again"  :(

Cigarettes are made in America.  You can help the great American cigarette factory worker by buying American.  Trump would thank you for switching.  :P

Started rewatching Rogue One again last night to try and figure out where they might go with the final arc. One thing that is apparent is that Cassian has spent some amount of time already on Jedha before R1. He knows who Baze and Chirrut are and what conditions are like in the city, etc. So that seems like something they might explore.

It also seems like there has been some kind of break with Saw and the rest of the Alliance that is more profound than anything hinted at to this point. So that could be a focus as well. I’m still mad we never got to see his dudes in any kind of real action. Hopefully that is coming.

As far as the supporting cast, I assume we won’t see Bix again. Not sure about Wilmon, or Vel. They don’t necessarily have to revisit either of them I feel like. Luthen and Kleya and Dedra are really the only characters who seem to need some kind of resolution.

There are so many interesting loose threads that I'm sure will be left unanswered.  What happened to "x"?  Why didn't we see "x"?  There are so many characters that they could be interacting with on Yavin, Coruscant, etc.

I'm kind of glad they've not done a ton of background easter egg stuff - e.g. "paging General Syndulla", that might detract from the serious tone of the show.  And I'm also glad they didn't shoehorn in a bunch of random stuff like we saw in The Book of Boba Fett - e.g. how did Boba Fett escape the Sarlacc Pit?

I personally was kind of hoping for a Senator Leia Organa sighting in the senate chambers sitting next to Bail, and I guess we still might, but if its not critical to the plot then it might be more distracting than anything.

Some of these tangents they could probably make a whole mini-series around (animated or live action).  A series about Saw's rebels would be sweet, but its probably not central to Andor's plot.  Maybe they'll get involved at Gohrman.

I wonder what happened to moving-manufacturing-back-to-the-US... but this is for the best if it keeps things stable.  People can incentivize US manufacturing with more carrots and fewer sticks.

Have plastic toys ever been made in the US, even in the "golden age of US manufacturing"???  My 1978 Star Wars figures say Hong Kong on them...

The tricky thing is that these are "temporary".  It takes a month+ to ship (pack, load, cross the Pacific, unload) something from China and clear customs in the US.  If there isn't clarity on how long the 30% tariff is in place it'll still be tough for companies to pull the trigger on importing things.

I know bigger companies like Hasbro *might* have import/export holding companies in China where items could technically clear customs before they ship, but I have no idea if Hasbro does this or if their stuff clears customs at the final destination.

Let's hope Hasbro has a bunch of stuff they can clear quickly and keep prices reasonable.

Story arc three was awesome, and glad to see Ruescott Melshi show up at the very end, although I didn't catch the significance of the blaster that he had that Vel seemed to find interesting.  Can anybody fill me in on that?

I couldn't wait for you smart people to answer so Reddit filled me in.  Apparently this is the blaster (with a Pre-Mor security emblem on it) that Cassian had on Aldhani and gave to Melshi on Niamos when they parted ways.

One thing that I've been waiting to understand better is Cassian's quest to find his sister.  That seemed somewhat important in season 1 with him willing to take some substantial risks to try and find her.  I'm not sure if that was just a helpful plot device to get Cassian off of Ferrix, in to trouble, and on the run, or if we're going to pull that back in at some point.  I guess we're running out of episodes and if it was going to figure in to season 2 it probably would have already happened...

It was sad to see Bix leave Cassian so he could fulfill his destiny as a rebel leader.

Some of the scene specific stuff would be good.

I think the other Season 1 minor characters that have grown in to more significant Season 2 characters that I would add are Wil and Kleya.

Does the Cantina Adventure Set come as a carboard playset, or is it just the four repainted figures?  Not sure I need repaints of these...

Disappointed that there still aren't any more Andor releases announced.

The Dedro-Syril relationship got me thinking.  With Syril on Ghorman, is it transactional?  Could he just be a pawn in Dedro's game of thrones?

Bix's character is rather tragic so far.  She's lost a lot of close people to her, tortured, and almost raped by the Michael Sheen looking Imperial, has PTSD, and now doing drugs.  Her plot could end in many ways, but I could see that she potentially becomes a liability and Andor has to make a hard choice (or maybe Luthen has her taken care of, which Cassian then takes him out).

I'm thinking the same way on Syril and Bix.  Things will not end well for either.

I think there is a little something in the Dedra / Syril relationship, but when push comes to shove I think Dedra will chose the Empire and her career ambitions over Syril.

Shin arrived today from Amazon. She's good, but definitely not great.

Agreed.  The figure is too clean and kind of looks like a doll with the weird blond hair.  Maybe they should have made a version of her with a cloak or something.

The Baylan though is super awesome.  Love every element of this figure.

Then, it got name dropped in the Star Wars Rebels episode "Secret Cargo", which is totally worth rewatching that Rebels arc as it is heavy in Mon Mothma/early Rebellion stuff probably very closely related to what's going to happen in Andor's later arcs.

Thanks for the background.  I never did pick up the RPG stuff.

I'll have to go watch those old Rebel's episodes you mentioned.  I'm sure I've seen them at least once, but the reference doesn't sound familiar.
