He goes by murderweapon over at RebelScum and CommandoCustoms.

Ah, OK.  I figured it must be something...  thanks for the clarification on that.

Murderweapon, don't feel like you shouldn't post here because of a small disagreement.

OK,

C_M, I think your post (or part of it) did get a response.  A few people suggested to you alternatives to use if you don't have a ERT v1 head.  The reason that the majority of people did not respond to the idea of changing the topic was that most people were already excited about the Rykrof project by the time you proposed doing something different.  Many folks have pointed out how the "Group Project" is different from the "Monthly Challenge" so I'll leave that point alone.

I'll put on my Staff hat for a minute here...  I think enough has been said that C_M can see Phruby meant no disrespect and his post just read harsher than he meant.  We can all move on and get back on topic.

#3 - why does everyone keep calling Commander_Miseria by "murderweapon"?  Am I missing something?   ???

I found a Utapau Clone at a St. Louis Walgreens today...

Wow, so by sheer dumb luck I managed to score a Scorch (the only figure they had on the pegs) at a Minnesota Walgreens when I stopped in to buy contact solution on my way home from work.

And then, the next day, you stop by a St. Louis area Walgreens to pick up some medicine and you manage to score a lone Utapau Clone Trooper.

Freaky.

I don't ever get that either, how smaller e-tailers can price compete.

It must be due to lower overhead or something I guess.   And I also think it just has to do with EE thinking of themselves as the "premiere destination".

Hell, they sold figures at the $8-9 each range for a looooong time before they finally came down in price to try to start matching the little guys.  From 2002-2004 I ordered from Rick because he has always been $10-15 cheaper than EE.

Yeah, I hear you Dan.

I can safely say that the only time I have ever been to a Twin Cities Wal-Mart that put out that many cases (10+) was Midnight Madness events.  If I stumble across someplace that puts out 2-3 cases, I consider myself extremely lucky that day...  ;)

It sounds like just the "regular" versions will ship in wave 1, then eventually the "chase" versions will be mixed into the wave 1.5 case.

According to EE, wave 1.5 includes:
2x Darth Vader (1 regular version and 1 patina variant)
2x Boba Fett (1 regular version and 1 patina variant)

I'm watching for the vTSC stuff to go up, I'll let you know if I see those pre-orders for the Clones go up...

Clone Mini-Bust Case for pre-order at New Force Comics.

Yeah, it's just the case of 6, but at $269.99 per case, that's only about $45 per bust.  Not too shabby I guess compared to the other prices out there...

I thimk they just went up tonight.  I ordered a couple.

Yeah, they weren't there yet last night when I checked (8pm) but I was glad to see the pre-order up this AM.

$89.99 plus $9.95 shipping?   :o  That's about $9.99 per figure after shipping.  No way Wal-Mart or Target can beat that price.  :)

Two more weeks have passed, and here I am again for my "every two weeks or so" feedback for Simon!

Yet another assist from Simon, this time we're back to the 400% variety.

...that's because I fixed it and then got distracted at work and forgot to come back in here and mention that I fixed it.

Thanks for the head's up, Ryan!

And not nitpicking Jeff's list, but I always hated the POTF2 Sandtrooper (and buff Stormie) - just horrible sculpts I think, even by the standards of the time.

Yeah, that PotF2 sculpt looks worse with each passing year, but when I saw it for the first time on the pegs I had to have me a pile of them.  First ever version of a Sandtrooper?  I musta bought 10-12 of them... they've all been replaced now with PotJ Troopers, but at the time I couldn't get enough of them.
