Their site is gltchy.  I can't place an order.

Forgot to update that I managed to get an order in on my phone the other day.  Got it yesterday.  Box had a few creases but I don't think that's from lack of packaging or shipping as the box looked fine.  But I'm an opener so not an issue for me.

Hef looks good, a bit frail. I was worried about moving his ankle joints since they're small.

Meatspin?  I saw the "aftermath" of that... the threats of reports, but never saw the gifs.  Perhaps I'm better off.

And the comments thread is now closed.  I guess Paul realized he might be in trouble if people pass the comments along to important people.  So much for coming to his site and debate things.

I appreciate everyone's insight on here.  It's been spot on and the dialogue mature.  I'm glad that we keep a classy joint here at JD.

Sorry to get everyone hyped on something that doesn't exist. I know I heard about the data tape, but it must have been speculation that I misunderstood and then thrown on top of that what I wanted to see in the carded Jyn sample.

I had heard the same thing somewhere and I was in agreement with you until I saw the picture.  Maybe some other Jyn will be coming out with the data tape.

I won't quote your post, Darby, but it's spot on.

I don't get the "how is she so powerful to use Jedi mind tricks (or what have you)" argument.  We don't even know Rey's past except she was dumped on Jakku.  Her vision of the slaughter of the Jedi suggests that she might have been there when it happened, so she might have some training, no matter how little of using the Force.  Her life on Jakku suggests that she's had to defend herself with that staff.  When Luke Skywalker is mentioned, Rey's eyes light up, so she knows about him.  Perhaps she's heard tales of Jedi's powers, of mind tricks and decides to try it out on Starkiller Base (after her mind battle with Kylo Ren) and it works.  Not too hard to believe... especially since she fails on the first attempt.

As for the lightsaber battle, everyone says Kylo is a Sith master.  Nowhere in the movie (I don't delve into books, etc) does it say he is a bona fide Sith apprentice.  He's under Snoke's tutelage.  There's no mention of how many lightsaber battles he's had with others that have had training.  All we know is he slaughters defenseless old men and maybe a Jedi (or perhaps a padawan who has less or equal experience than he.

Of course, this is all conjecture at the moment until TLJ enlightens us on some things.

I'm just surprised that Hasbro/Disney/LFL haven't cracked down on these rants.  An owner of a fan site will have opinions about characters, but I don't see the hate spouted off about them at every chance they get.  I mean if they are banning sites for compiling a list for product coming out on FF (I really don't know the reasons, but I'm assuming), then having the talking head of a site using racial, misogynistic, and other descriptors toward your product should have you taken down without hesitation.

All it's going to take is for someone to hashtag (or link, I'm no expert on this) the right person at Disney, LFL, or mainstream media to see this.  We saw how quickly the flames spread when some famous person saw a 6" Slave Leia.

Star Wars Anthology / Re: Solo (SPOILERS)

One issue I have with TFA is how characters' fates are left open.  Maz: she hands Finn the lightsaber and disappears.  A simple, it's time for me to leave would have sufficed.  Phasma: isn't she in the trash compactor still when StarkillerBase Base went nova?  Yeah, I know, the new boom or comic explains it, but the average viewer will be stumped when she shows up in TLJ... unless there's an explanation in there.  Kylo?  Last we saw he was laying in the snow on StarkillerBase.  Do they have transponders?  I don't think Hux (who also conveniently cowarded away but at least it was explained) would have bothered picking up the man he's at odds with).  Even in the beginning with Poe.  Not in the TIE, but he escaped Jakku sand shows up later with no explanation of how he got off a planet that had full FO attention.

These are just little things but legitimate concerns that could have made the movie more solid.

And now RH is even teasing the inclusion of Tag & Bink.

Is that those Imperial Officers are supposed to be?  If so, that's cool, but one of them just doesn't look right.

Picked up Maz, Leia and the Guard today at Target.  Nice to be done with those...

Didn't realize there were some spoilerish things on the back of Maz's box.

Seeing that AT-AT next to the AT-M6 was a bit of a surprise.

That really should not have been a surprise for me to see the AT-AT.  The poster that TRU handed out for MM had one between two M6s... I obviously didn't look at the poster too carefully that night (and I tucked it away when I got home and hadn't looked at it until today).

Also visible in the poster looks like an FO version of the TIE-Bomber, which I hadn't heard anyone talk about (I could have missed it).

I saw this wave yesterday at V-Stock, but wasn't grabbing anything at $24.99.  They also had several ERGs, so they must have gotten in a solid case of them.
