Obviously, I was confusing the Black series Wampa with previous 3.75 inch releases. I do find it curious that we got such a nicely articulated creature figure in the 5 POA line, but I''m not complaining. It's great figure.

Basic on my info, this is how wave 2 is rounding out:

1x NEW! Han Solo (Solo: A Star Wars Story)
1x NEW! Enfys Nest (Solo: A Star Wars Story)
1x NEW! Combat Assault Tank Driver (Rogue One)
1x Death Trooper (Rogue One)
1x Rey (The Force Awakens)
1x Supreme Leader Snoke  (The Last Jedi)
1x First Order Stormtrooper (The Force Awakens)
1x Kylo Ren (The Force Awakens)

I keep going back and forth over this case assortment and how it reflects Hasbro's logic in moving forward with the Vintage line. Obviously one needs a crystal ball to ideally plan these things out, but I wonder how much of this assortment is collector based vs boys toys marketing based.

Although for me personally, buying this assortment by the case doesn't make sense, not even one case as I'll have 3 figures I can't do anything with, the more I look at it, the more it might be a good retail assortment. Setting aside the three new figures, the Deathtrooper is a no-brainer for vintage treatment. Snoke makes sense as a carry-forward. That leaves Rey, Kylo and FO Stormtrooper. The more I think about it, these aren't bad as Stormtroopers always seem to do well and Kylo tends to not hang around for too long either.

In the end, as I put in down on paper, this is not a horrible assortment. Hope Hasbro's got it right and that we won't see much peg clogging. I haven't been this excited for the hobby in years. I love it.

I dunno what's going on with WM, but two of them in my area have shrunk the SW section leaving no space allocation to either Black series or Vintage.

Is this Wampa new? I'm having trouble recalling the last one we got in 3.75 inch form. Or is this basically a 3.75 inch version of the black series Wampa?

Ended up grading the Swoop bike and Luke/Wampa. Gotta admit that I like the look of the Swoop bike set. It's looking like an opener for me.

Anyone know if the rumors about Disney stopping all Slave Leia merchandise it true?

That would be baffling. I highly doubt it.

However, I will text a friend who can confirm. Stand by..

Seen them all in store now, except for the Hoth trooper. Lots of sequel trilogy Stormtroopers out there.

If any of you guys stockpiling these don't need the drivers, please let me know.  I'd gladly buy up more of them and/or trade you something for them.  I'm looking for some extras to go in my ROTJ Shuttle landing display.

Would love to see that display.

Had a difficult time finding Han's speeder without a bashed box. Found a decent one, then set it down because of the $30 price tag. This won't be flying off the shelves, so I'll grab it later.

Went out Friday morning with mixed results.

Started out the day at a very predictable and frustrating Walmart. This store consistently drops the ball. There was nothing out despite them having product in back. I called for a manager, they brought out a toy guy who insisted that the release date was Monday the 16th complete with orders from the main office. I pointed out the fact that that was wrong, that the box says the 13th. He begrudgingly went in the back and brought out a few boxes. I picked up all the 2-packs and a force link set, but he allowed me to buy only 2 basic figures. There were no Vintage, beast/speeder packs, vehicles or 6 inch.

I went over to Target across the street and bought all the basic figures.

My end of my area was pretty lackluster. My friend on the other end of the SF Valley got everything; basic figures, Vintage, 6 inch, including the Dewback, 2-packs and Beast/Vehicle sets.

I'd LOVE a Rebel Transport. Always loved that ship.

Me too. Great combination of carrying case and playset.

My buddy has been finding these on the shelves at Targets all over the place, but couldn't buy 'em either.

This whole adventure has been epic. I sincerely don't think this project would have had the response if it were anything but an OT item, but I hope to be proven wrong in the future.

I was thinking the of doing something similar, list-wise. Thanks for saving me the trouble!

I'm Okay with Bib. I know he's got limited articulation, but it's a solid sculpt, IMO.

So I assume we are getting no Solo figures or toys at TRU this year.

They had the best Force Fridays.
