The Vintage Collection / Re: 2017 Hasbro Star Wars Fan Figure Vote

I went for it. I officially voted for Sim Aloo. If you others follow suit, that's three of us!

The did a really nice job on this one. I'm gonna pick him up, just because.

and one of the asian sellers ended up selling TFA Stormtrooper in sets of 5 for $30 recently. My fingers are crossed that we'll see that for both the DeathTrooper and Scariff trooper at some point in quantity.

Damn, I wish I'd have seen that one.  You don't know which one it was by chance?

Viperkingdom. They've got some now!

Land Speeder still seems a tad under scaled, but... wow! Another nice piece, in spite of the fact that I'm not a fan of the 6 inch line.

Keep in mind, guys; the Phasma wave showed up in mass a year after it's release, and one of the asian sellers ended up selling TFA Stormtrooper in sets of 5 for $30 recently. My fingers are crossed that we'll see that for both the DeathTrooper and Scariff trooper at some point in quantity.

I'm hardly believing the great news coming out of celebration! I hope they'll put some nice set details into this, but as long as it's a larger mold with a nice paint app, I'll be happy.

Wow! What a racket. Thanks for posting the link to detailed pics, nicely done stuff. Really looking forward to the black protocol.   I'm gonna have to get 'em all, of course. :P

I have to think about this. I want Sim Aloo as well, just to help fill out the original 93. My top want is the Incredible Cross Sections Hoth Speeder biker, but I feel that'd be throwing my vote away as well. General Merrick is definitely near the top of my list.

My hobby is back!!!

I am unbelievably stoked, especially because they'll no longer be exclusive. The last two years have been dark times indeed for my collecting. My big wish is that they knock out some more of the original 93 as they go. A new Yakface or a Bespin Guard would be very welcome. (Know there's more, those we the first two I could think of off the top of my head.)

I mentioned this in my previous post, but now that the movie is available at home, and that I've watched the last half hour about a dozen times already, I think it's a shame that there are no 3.75" TIE fighters and X-wings out with this this movie. Seriously, who wouldn't want a Blue leader X-wing with General Merrick?

Rogue One / Re: Rogue One 3.75" Wave 4

Glad I pounced on EE's half case way back when or I'd still have none of wave 3 with wave 4 soon to come.

Me too, even though I found wave three at retail once. Only once.

Will jump on a half case for this wave if available. Just wondering what the repacks will be.

I found one case at retail so far, but I had already picked up a set from EE, which I don't regret in the slightest. Hope they do the same for wave 4.

It's a real head scratcher on distribution. I felt very lucky to get all the 3.75's because they sold instantly the moment they hit. Same with the 6 inch Scarif. Found him once. BUT, as predicted, I've been seeing Target's 6 inch exclusive everywhere. Why on Earth can Target get an exclusive out there for people to find, but Walmart can't?

Been seeing this all over now too, but had got it from HTS. Great set, solid figures (we'll the new ones.)

I love reading all your well thought out perspectives. They help keep me centered when I'm taking a break from life, enjoying my collection and wistfully reminiscing about the good old days of the 3.75 SA line and all the awesome upgrades to ships we were getting, knowing that we'll never see that "golden age" again. It's life. We've all been a community for quite a while and have seen friends come and go. And our hobby must change just as life itself. Let's face it, some of us in the next ten or twenty years are going to look at our collections and try to decide if we're going to will them to our children, give sale and proceed instructions to our estates or find a younger collectors who will care for our collections as much as we did. Then again, maybe some of us will be buried with our collections.  ::)

Point is, I think may of you know I fall into the 3.75 SA loyalist camp, and although things aren't what they used to be, I'm still enjoying what little we are getting and will continue to do so for as long as I can sustain the hobby.
