What really bugs me is that as I chat with casual collectors and people who collect other lines (i.e Hot Wheels), they all know about these and the trooper excusive and say how lame it is, but then say, I'm going to pick it up though because it's an exclusive. I just don't know how how to respond.

Your not allowed to advertise your auctions on the forums there. Or here.

And I see our friend red5sixx has a few of these for 45 bucks.

red5sixx? lol he has a booth at Franks, cool guy

Cool guy? He's making it harder for us to get the darn things. >:(

I have to report that I am guilty of having cases of unopen army builders, but with me, its just because I have not had the time to open or display them.

As a matter of fact, and JediMac can attest to this, I just pulled all of my army builders out with the intent to open them because the packaging is taking up too much room. I haven't done it yet, and now I'm using the mass opening party as a reward for finishing a certain project.

Score! Colletion 1 wave 7 broke at Walmart! I got all by Gree from the assortment with #57 - #63.

Pics please!

Unfortuantly, it's a hassle to post pictures as I don't have a computer with enough space to load the software. :(

You guys have to know in your heart of hearts that both Bail and Obi-wan are going to be repacks. That's the exclusives way, minimal work.

I have the distinct honor of being the first to thank Chip for a big time hook up. Chip was cool enough to help me get a set of the K-Mart exclusive battlepacks and has saved me a ton of hasstle.

Thanks Chip!

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Anyone know the Target DCPI #s?

As a note to those who had found that thier Targets had blocked SW out of the floor scanners, I tried using DCPI's again today and the scanner recognized them. Now, they didn't have any of the exclusives in back, but at least we might be able to check on them now.

If you haven't checked out the recent purchases, I just scored Wave 7 Collection 1, minus Gree which another collector got, but I came a cross an interesting tid bit as food for thought.

A Wal Mart manager told a friend today that on Oct 1st they are making a SW endcap and are holding on putting out new figures until then. Has anyone heard of such a game plan? I'm usually sceptical about such claims, but the context in which it came up, it sounds lagit. Thoughts?

Score! Colletion 1 wave 7 broke at Walmart! I got all but Gree from the assortment with #57 - #63. Gree was snagged by a friend.

Going to another Walmart, one of the other guys hanging out for SW said that the manager had just told him before I arrived that they had gotten them in as well, but were locked in the office until October 1st when some type of end cap is going to be put up. The context in which I heard the story seems to sound lagit, and believe me, I take everything managers say with a grain of salt. So I wonder what's so big about Oct 1st?

My wife and I had the unique pleasure of watching Lost for the first time on DVD over the last two weeks. We timed it so that as soon as the season finale ended, we watched the season premier and the show didn't skip a beat!

Wouldn't be intersting if Desmond had crossed paths with each survivor?

I'm surprised they didn't give a difinative answer earlier.

I'm not, it keeps people going to store to find it, and possibly buying other SW merchandse to tide them over instead…

Always thinkin' that Big Hasbro

Revenge of the Sith / Re: "Evolutions" assortment...
« on: September 22, 2005, 12:41 PM »
I rank the Sith set the bottom of the 3 because of Darth Maul's plastic cloak accessory. They could have just as easily included the one from the EI pack-in Sith Speeder figure. And I would have liked an alternate pale skin "Emperor" head for Palpatine in addition to that the constipation look head he comes with.

Yeah, I think the Maul is argueably the worst of the evolution figures, but I think Palpatine is pretty outstanding and makes up for Maul's shortcomings, dispite Palpatine's fixed scowl. Maul realy could have used the ball jointed elbows.
