There was so much stuff that I'm going to need a checklist to make sure I get everything.

Looks like we get RFTs for Round 2!  Still no holsters, but nice to get Scrambas done, along with a new Capt. Antilles and couple others to diversify the line!  Now, lets get some Bespin Wing Guards done!

I don't understand why these exclusives are so hard to find in MN.  Seems like lots of success away from their home market, but new stuff is impossible to find here in the twin cities where we have 50+ stores around the metro.

I don't think these will be too hard to find in the long run (build up to Christmas).  There were 2 yesterday at a local store and the toy manager said they were getting 12 more on the next truck (today) and apparently people can order these store pick-up now!  Patience is key.

The Tusken Raider is back in stock if any of you are like me and we’re hoping to pick up a few more…

Awesome, thanks! I just ordered three more.

Did the same, though at the time it said 5 left... I was worried I'd get 0, but they're already shipped!

A local Target had these listed as limited stock, so I called to make sure of quantity and rushed over.  Toy manager pulled it from the back, but I confirmed everything was intact.  Nice to be done with this.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Star Wars (A New Hope) Thoughts

It was on Disney+.

I have to laugh at my asking now since you're watching it on a treadmill... Can't imagine running with a DVD player strapped to the back.  ;)

At time stamp 1:38:36 there's a PA announcement in the hangar:  "Phoenix squad...{unintelligible}"

....and I was just taken aback that the sourcing for Phoenix squad in the Rebels animated series came from some background dialogue from A New Hope!  These little details really are the threads that tie the whole universe together.

I'm just curious which version you were watching.  Didn't Lucas/Disney change some things recently to the movies?  Maybe they added that with the new changes?  No idea, but I'm going to have to throw in my originals on DVD and catch that... time stamp will likely be different on those though without the added scenes.

Sedon+bulb+a = Sebulba
Mesa = Mesa called Jar Jar Binks!
Mauv+d+e= Maude = Ackmena
Tucso+ke+n =Tusken Raider (female)
Seattle = Kit Fisto
Bothell+an = Bothan
Wi+t+chita= Nightsister/Talzan/Ventress

;)  Totally making it up, but it's a fun game.

"Ronin" was an excellent way to kick off the series.  The Jedi / Samurai parallels have been there since the beginning of the saga.  Just look at the Cantina fight scene in ANH.  The way Obi-Wan drew his lightsaber and dispatched Ponda Baba and Dr Evazan was immediate and decisive - just like how a Samurai would draw his katana only to strike and then sheath the weapon again.

I actually really enjoyed the black and white animation with only the lightsabers providing the color.  The setting was pure Japan, through and through, as were almost all of the characters.  As for the era this took place in?  I would judge it to be after the events of the sequel trilogy, considering the armor and equipment the bandits had.  But I think trying to place any of these episodes within the accepted timeline is kind of missing the point.

The Ronin seemed interesting, and he lived up to the name.  He had a code, but was not beholden to any master.  And I thought the way his droid was realized was interesting.  The lightsaber parasol was something unexpected, but pretty cool.  The flying actually reminded me a little of the Inquisitor lightsabers.  And the way the Ronin was collecting the crystals?  That was surprising, too, as if he was hunting Sith.

When I checked out that episode I saw some of the others, but I want to re-watch them and give them my undivided attention.

Agree.  I loved this one and the characters would make for some interesting figures.  I also loved the AT-AT body hover transport as well.

They just went live!!!!!!

Sweet.  Managed to get all three.

A little unusual for Target to be right on time with these.

Fett is already out of stock.  ::)

Don’t forget a Imperial Deathtrooper pack to tag along with Krennic (should they ever choose to make him) or Moff Gideon.

I'd really like to see a Krennic made in TVC style.  But based on what Hasbro said in the livestream I think we're probably not going to see the squad leader or officer differ too much from the rest of the troops.  I could see them offering 3 x standard Death Troopers with a variety of weapons, but the squad leader would have a pauldron.

The cynic in me now sees this for what it is - another way to use the same figure buck for the entire set of four, rather than making more different figures.

Yeah, Krennic on a separate carded figure with the 4-pack of Death Troopers.

Is it really cynical or being realistic?

That was relatively harmless.  Ordered the new 6 figures plus 2 Trooper Builders.
