Watto's Junk Yard / Re: JD Book Club: What Are You Reading Now?
« on: June 6, 2003, 09:53 PM »
Summer reading for school is forcing me to read The House on Mango Street. Haven't started it yet. After that, I'll probably finish up the Thrawn Trilogy, and start the new Harry Potter book.

JD Sports Forum! / Re: The Official "WWE" Thread

Wrestlezone.com (A good website for wrestling news, despite all of the pop-ups) is saying that the two main matches at Vengeance will be Mr. America vs. Vince McMahon, and Lesnar vs. Angle. I'm assuming that Lesnar will turn heel sometime.

Yeah, I'm going to slowly fade away also. This forum is really nice, so it will be the place where I drop the most posts from now on. The only reason left for me to hang around RS is the Austin Look What I Found thread. It has a nice group of people. Other than that, I'm pretty much through with RS.

LEGO / Re: AT-AT
« on: June 6, 2003, 01:52 PM »
Hey all,

I've had this set for about a week now, and this is no doubt one of the best Lego sets ever made. My only gripe about the set is that it is hard to connect the neck at first. It is very loose, and one wrong move will cause the head to fall off. My only other gripe about the set is that the sides of the face are very loose, and are easy to push off.

Other than that, this is a great set. Every SW Lego fan should buy one. You won't regret buying it.

Power of the Force 2 / Re: Favorite Ship
« on: June 6, 2003, 01:45 PM »
Hmm, that's kind of tough. I'd have to go with the Power FX X-Wing as a ship. For actual vehicle, I'd have to go with either the AT-AT, or the Skiff. Two of the best vehicles made, IMO.

Well, my favorite wrestler would probably have to be either Angle or Jericho. As for the shows, we don't get UPN on my cable system, so I can only watch Raw. :( I used to think Smackdown was the better show, until Austin returned as Co-GM to Raw. Ever since then, I've felt that Raw is improving and that Smackdown is just becoming more and more like a soap opera. :P

JD Sports Forum! / Any Wrestling fans in here?
« on: June 5, 2003, 10:18 PM »
I'm just curious to see how many wrestling fans (WWF/E, NWA/TNA, Backyard, etc.) we have on these boards. If there are any, maybe this can be a thread where we talk about wrestling, and how wierd the storylines are now. :P

Yeah, with the size and price, I expect this one to be a big shelfwarmer. I'm going to wait until it goes down.
