Sweet Jeebus.  Another "there is no father".  I hated that with Phantom Menace and I equally hate it now.  Just a bloody stupid take regardless of who wrote it.   ::)

I haven't figured out how to delete my team so if the commish wants to boot me, that's perfectly acceptable to me.  It was a ton of fun playing with you guys (and gals) but I just don't have the interest any longer.

You should be commissioner now.  I sure hope so as I no longer have access. 

As for hockey I'd guess that the league is a little over 50% active?  Not many will show up for the draft is my guess.  I'd say I can think of 5-7 people that will be active through the year with pickups/drops/setting their roster.  We could use more people in it but interest is low in hockey. 

It is showing you as active commissioner now so that's good.  As for next year I can be in or out depending on the league needs.  If I'm in, I'll likely be minimally active, like this year - auto draft, a few pickups/drops through the season.  If you find you have others who are interested and want a fully active league, either boot me or ask and I'll remove the team myself, whatever works to make the league better.

I can try to find us some fresh blood over the course of the year and see if it's salvageable.  Seemed like we had 5 or 6 people still playing already even though it wasn't competitive.

I am able to assign a new commissioner I think at this point still I think.  Would you like me to assign to you?

I did send out the email via Yahoo to all managers so covered that base.  I'll just leave it as is for now in case anyone wants to step up. 

As it is, manage your team or not.  Delete it from the league on your own if you wish - I'm pretty sure you can leave on your own and don't need me to delete.

So down to 7 teams as I understand it now and nobody has volunteered to be commissioner as of yet. 

I set a draft date but it's going to functionally be a dead draft.  Nobody has withdrawn their teams as of yet.  If I withdraw, the league goes away, so I'm hamstrung on this.

Not that I actually expect the season to make it through completion, but Yahoo football is up. 

I'm retiring at this point but I'd be happy to assist in renewing the league and then passing the commissioner role to someone that is acceptable to the group.  It's probably the easiest route for it to be set up again.  I'd then drop out and there would be an open space for anyone that wants to join.
