Nice picture. I can't imagine anyone getting that bent out of shape as to harrass someone because they have more than you, but then again, some people are very small.

I certanly hope they put the clone variation out in decent quantity.

I poped open the Sith set last night and man am I impressed. The evolution series has been a real winner for me and I hope and pray it continues.

Hasbro had to have been beseiged by people asking that question. I'm surprised they didn't give a difinative answer earlier.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Do you display more than one...
« on: September 21, 2005, 10:02 AM »
I have oppritunities to buy more than one figure (non-army builder) for display purposes, but I don't just because of the expence.  If I did, it would be because I have a cabinate where I display each Vintage figure along side it's best modern counterpart keeping the modern counterpart unavailable for specific scenes.

Holographic Stormtrooper w/ blaster

Why would you want a holographic Stormtrooper?

To have an army of visible spectrum cloaked stormtroopers silly. :P

Does anyone have a difinative wave/rotaion list for the general release BP's?

I know wave 1 was 4x Jedi Vs Sith and wave 2 was 2x Jedi Vs Sith and 2x Jedi Vs Seperatists. Is wave 3 2x Jedi vs Seperatists and 2x Rebel vs Empire?

Revenge of the Sith / Re: New toy lines affecting SW ROTS?
« on: September 20, 2005, 01:40 PM »

I'll will hate to admit that without the scalpers all SW lines would be in danger. If they were eliminated that's a huge chunk of buyers gone-would definately have an effect on sales

Do you really think? Wouldn't the product that was left behind by the scalper be bought buy someone who would a) normally buy from a scalper but can now buy it for retail or b) never get the item in the first place because they don't buy from scalpers period?

I wonder sometimes about what percentage of people buy from scalpers because they are any of the following:

-Rich and don't care
-Too lazy or simply unable to shop themselves with regularity
-Too gulable and impatient to wait.

If most of the people who buy from scaplpers are rich, then yes, the lack of scalping would make a major dent, but I tend to think scalpers sell mainly to the other two catagories who might be more inclined to get out to a store and buy the product up. But, that's pure speculation on my part and perhaps food for thought.

I think that as well sometimes, but when I see those collections, I'm ususally under the impression that they are collections from pre-teens and teens who are proud that they can amass and display these items. If that is the case or not, I have know idea, but I would like to see some real collections.

Maybe all the serious collectors with serious collectors are over here. ::)

Revenge of the Sith / Re: RotS - Deluxe Figures
« on: September 19, 2005, 01:22 PM »

And I will say this: the Deluxe Grievous, having had a few months to sink in, is the BEST Grievous available right now, hands-down.  Best paint job, best sculpt, and unlike the #9 Grievous, his action feature works and works well.

Again, you and I agree. I also think he is better scaled and at the very least, imposing.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: NEW TIE Fighter
« on: September 19, 2005, 12:58 PM »
You know, I was just thinking about what if the price was lower? How many of these would I buy? I think they're great ships, but they are huge and take up a lot of space, so even if they were at a lower price point, I don't think I could pick up more than I bought already. And frankly, I don't have room enough for the ones I have. :P
