What a weird situation.  I’m quite happy to not be obsessively checking the app anymore.

Yeah, I'd love a behind the scenes accounting for why Target bothered to cancel all of the pre-orders, not change any pricing, but then it seems sufficient quantities showed up at retail in the following weeks.  Maybe they've got some kind of screwed up pre-order / shipping algorithm but this seems to have done nothing other than annoy the crap out of collectors with no upside for Target.

I'm glad it seems to have all worked out for everyone, but geez, this could have been handled a lot better.

I just got an email from Amazon that mine is coming this weekend.

I’ll be honest, I found both arcs to be fairly uninteresting.  I know it was late at night, but I kept nodding off in the Cad Bane one.

The only interesting part is Ventress’ reanimation scene made me look up why she had died, etc.  That was a novel I never read and didn’t understand her tie to Quinlan Vos.

They’ve got to find more interesting characters and more interesting plots to drive these around.  Do this with Saw or some of the background characters in Andor/Rogue One.

In the app mine were showing both local pickup and delivery pop in and out.  It took about five different "add to cart and fail" events before I landed one today.

Refreshing in the app didn't seem to work well, so I would back out to the search screen and refresh before going back in to the product screen.  That seemed to update availability better.

Good luck!

This has been popping in and out of stock this morning (at least in the Minneapolis area).  After a few times getting it in to my cart and losing it, I finally managed to snag one (at full price) for delivery tomorrow.

Hopefully those still looking for one get lucky too with more stock arriving in stores.

Does he have two-tone fur with his lower legs a lighter shade than his upper legs?

The shield and bandolier look like a fleur-de-lis from a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade crewe.

That is impressive.  I've got 2700 figure "items" (tracked by UPC - individually carded and multipacks) so I'm guessing the actual number of figures is probably in the low 3000s.  And I've bought pretty much everything that has come out, so you must be doing some serious army building.  Most impressive.

Let's hope that means they're expecting a dozen or so per store, eventually.

Its been awhile since there was a Target exclusive that sold out quickly, so I'm not too worried about finding these even if Target has totally botched the rollout.

I know its not TVC, but Disney has to come out a droid 4-pack or two.  I'd love to have a Mina Rau droid 4-pack of B2-EMO and the droids he was playing tag with.  I'm sure they could put together some cool Yavin 4 packs as well.

I was looking at all the background stuff at Yavin 4 and just drooling about all the cool supply skiffs, welders, crates, cargo pods, etc.  It will probably have to come from the customizer community, but I'd love a Yavin 4 playset that has tons of this stuff.  If Hasbro were to do it they could do it like the BoBF throne room set, but instead of bottles, and pillows, and goofy crap I'd like crates, ladders, hoses, etc.  I'd love a couple of figures bundled in that are workers with welders that I can set on top of my X-Wing, U-Wing, etc. in my hangar setup. I know back in the day we got a little of this with crew shuttles, etc., but I'd love a lot more hangar accessories.

These have shown up on eBay.  I decided to overpay to be safe.  They currently can be bought for about $30.

Great idea, and its not really overpaying when that is only a few dollars more than you would pay if they were available on Shop Disney.  I just paid $27+ for the latest pride droid, so $32 (with tax) is worth the peace of mind.

I want these guys too.

I would think with all of these troopers there is enough existing tooling (Solo Mudtrooper) that for the most part all they would need to do is create a bunch of heads to pop on.  Maybe the partial Stormtrooper armor would be more work, but create one body with a bunch of heads.

I talked with a friend last night who is now obsessed with the idea that Kleya lived, thrived with the rebellion and kept working intelligence for them.

He thinks we need to re-do Rogue One/Andor with a movie called "Bothans" as the ROTJ DS2 plans prequel and then do a "Kleya" D+ Series as a prequel to that - how Kleya figures out they are building another death star, how the Bothans get involved to steal the plans in "Bothans" movie, how the ISB feeds the Bothans false info as revenge for Andor/Axis (IT'S A TRAP!).

At first I thought he was crazy, but the more I think about it - yeah, I'd watch that.

There are a bunch of somewhat key characters that we don't know their end story that could be reused in an adventure like this.  Kleya.  Vel.  Willmon.  Bix.

If its well told I'd be all for it.

Still as I watch the serious drama playing out across both seasons of Andor, I’m reminded that this show is taking place in the same universe inhabited by Jar Jar Binks and the Ewoks

I think there is room for both - goofy kid oriented stuff and semi-serious Andor-like stuff.   I know Mando and BoBF weren't meant to be serious, but the level of storytelling in Andor is orders of magnitude better than what we're seeing in Ahsoka, Acolyte, Mando, BoBF, etc.  I know some love Filoni, but Andor is a great example of what can happen when you turn over the keys over to someone else who has real skills.

I also love that there were no Jedis, no Nightwitches, no force sensitive anything (other than the force healer that was more of a hero finder), no magic planets with a special force vergance that can create force wielding people, no genetically engineered people with extra powers, no Joseph Campbell samurai or bear/cub mythos, etc.   This was just plain old rebels fighting plain old dictators with kick ass characters in a kick ass story.  Sure there is some Joseph Campbell hero's journey stuff, but there isn't anything supernatural about Cassian and the rebels.

Please, please Lucasfilm make more of this - including things like Rogue Squadron, etc. with non-Jedi on great adventures.

Another nice touch was to see that B2-EMO didn't get totally left behind.

After watching season 2 - a few more things I'd love to be added to the list.

- Kleya
- General Draven
- 4-pack of ISB raiding group with partial Stormtrooper armor

I'm good with the current U-Wing and Imperial Shuttle, but this show gives them a reason to re-release or redo.  If they redo the Imperial Shuttle I'd love to see the Imperial ISB paint job that they had in the Coruscant raid
