Fan First Friday reveals....

- A look at the very first "work-in-progress" hardcopy/model
- Announced Unlock #1 - 6" Gamorrean Guard on POTF card w/appropriately scaled-coin

Wow.  A repack on a new card with a coin.   They're really going all out to pull us in.   ::)

My son who read the first book really liked it.  My wife and I, who haven't read the books, felt it was a bit slow.  Not terrible, but slower than it needed to be.

As of this morning, my tracking number finally works.  Shows the package was picked up by UPS 11/4 at 5pm.  Tracking info says I should have the package by 11/10.  Hoping this all works out in the end!

So you might be right.  Maybe they loaded up a semi trailer and temporarily lost it on the lot.

My guess is the Razor Crest will have more reasonable prices on the secondary market, especially right off the bat.  The Barge didn't have much for international distribution while the Razor Crest had more retailers supporting international customers.  I think there were a lot of international customers trying to get a Barge from US sources and I have no idea how you would easily ship that beast.

Are you guys ready for more frustration trying to track down another round of exclusive 6" Holiday Repaint/Kitbash Figures?  Jayson's saying Amazon and Walmart each have one for sure, maybe more.  :-X

I'm ready to pass on them like I did last year, unless of course they make something a lot more interesting than they made last year, but I'm assuming these will be like last years and I'll pass.

Despite all the reasons I've read elsewhere that I should hate these, I really like how they look now that we've got actual product pics. More disappointed now I missed Mace.

Yeah, I hope these make it to the store or back online as I missed Mace as well.

I've seen a lot more of that lately with UPS doing the long haul and the post office doing the local delivery.  The tracking data is totally garbage, but the delivery date they quote is usually pretty accurate.

I have a Kenner Rancor, a POTF2 Rancor, a Legacy Collection Rancor and it's TFU repaint already... not sure I'd plunk down the $175 (at least) they'd charge for yet another 3.75" scale Rancor.  :-\

It was never my favorite "character" and I've got a couple too many already.

Kinda funny - my invoice from Target uses all the figure code names and not their real product names - e.g. Arkansas, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Delaware vs. General Lando, Tech, etc.

But will she reprise her Flashdance dance as a Twilek dancer?

Seriously though, I didn't realize she acted in anything after Flashdance.  Checking out IMDB it looks like she has had a lot of smaller roles that I never noticed.

Has anyone spotted these at stores?

I managed to pre-order most, but I'm still trying to track down a Captain Rex.  I don't live all that close to a Wal-Mart so I don't want to start making stops until these have been sighted.

So there will be a mainline release of this figure?  I don't need to pay extra for the POTF2 packaging and the shipping from HasbroPulse if this will be available at Amazon and Target later.

Thanks Jeff.  That was easy for a change.

Yeah, I'll pass, but I like the idea.

They should do this with some of the Halloween droids and mix in the Pride droid too.  Some of those were really tough to come buy and I'm still looking for them.

I'm (nearly) all in on Star Wars 6" figures but have virtually no interest in The Rancor.  Maybe if there were a pile of figures that were packed in (Maliki, Oola, etc.) I might consider it, but its too big and too expensive.

I didn't even realize that HasLab was running a Proton Pack kickstarter.  Pretty cool, but spendy, plus no wand??  And it appears there isn't a classic wand available either.  I own no Ghostbusters stuff but am much more interested in getting this proton pack than The Rancor.

After the choice of The Rancor by HasLab I have no ability to handicap their next choice.  This just seems dumb...  I'm torn on if I want it to succeed or not.  I'd like it to be successful for those in the collector community that want it, but I also want it to fail so that they might stay focused on 3.75" items as those have been very successful.
