Reading the recent activity of this thread has reminded me: I've been banned from the RS forums for 4 years. Amazing.

I am actually in favor of reproducing the Episode I cardbacks. Whereas I was but 9 when that line was released, I do have a certain nostalgia for it.

Amongst other things, I've been enjoying on Nicholson Baker's Human Smoke for the past two weekends.

It is fascinating to say the least, and certainly is something which might prove worthwhile for the WW2 fans around here to look into.

A review from the New York Times, if anyone is interested.

There Will Be Blood. Can't recommend it enough.

This fact cannot be reiterated enough. Absolutely outstanding.

Dammit. I missed Tyler, Fillmore, Arthur, and Harding. Otherwise, all of them in about 6 minutes.

I have a basic, brown leather bi-fold wallet. It serves my purposes well enough.

I do have a Swiss Army 'man bag', as well.

No Country might have been the best movie I've seen in the last year or two - it was absolutely brilliant.

Can I get a quote for truth? I have seen it 3 times thus far!

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Cutting back in 08?
« on: December 6, 2007, 07:25 PM »
I've cut back an exceptional amount since 2005.

In 2004, I probably purchased around 100-150 figures. In 2005, the final number was closer to 250. In 2006, I purchased maybe 20-25. This year? Less than 10.

We'll see next year. I really enjoyed the Clone Wars line in 2003 and am looking foward to its return.

Carolina made it to the #6 spot nationally... and then lost every game hence. Well done!
