Welcome to the boards Dorito.

What Master Replicas have you added to your collection?  Mini-Sabers, LE items, FX Sabers or are you shelling out for the Studio scale? :o

That is an interesting idea.  Possibly a way to watch them come 2 November.

But the EB kits didn't have cards.

You'd have to unwrap one of those, and I'd probably fly to texas to kill you.  :P

Matt, I do kind of have to disagree with you on the pricepoint issue.  Sure they don't push product in the amounts a Wlamart or Target might, and they are more specific, but they also do not have the overhead that those stores have.  That's why Amazon is able to have prices lower than the brick and mortar stores they compete with.

Sorry you aren't impressed with it Don.  I agree that it would look awkward displayed alongside any of the Hasbro figures....it even looks odd next to my Marmit Fett.

However, standing next to the Medicom Luke he looks awesome!

Other Collectibles / Re: Star Wars Passes
« on: August 5, 2005, 10:42 AM »
Well, my C3 set of passes showed up today and I am impressed.  The box is a little bigger than I thought it would be, but then so are the passes.  They're larger than the Insider and C1 passes that are already in my collection.

The etched cover completely slides off to allow access to the passes inside which are securely held in by the protective foam.

The pricepoint may be a bit hight, but considering what I would've paid to try and get each pass individually off of ebay and the nice box, I think it's not so bad.

Just a shame that none of them are autographed like they were in my C1 set.  (ok so it was only the Jar-Jar one but still....one of them's autographed!)

I think I saw the same one that SLC saw.  Which I had picked it up as well.

I can't say enough how I like the use of legos.  I really like the Imperial officer in the Pith Helmet!  Very creative stuff.

Only thing I saw was a small inconsistency where they were told they could leave their ship in the hanger and the very next line has them flying the Falcon to the mansion.  Very minor stuff though.

Nice effort I like the story idea, but I would've liked to see some more.

Maybe you could work on backdrops instead of furniture as a setting so you could use older pics in the future.
