Revenge of the Sith / Re: Best RotS Vehicle
« on: April 29, 2005, 07:31 PM »
I have each of the vehicles now available, and so far I really like the Obi-Wan starfighter, now I ust need a pilot for it!

The ARC-170 is also a well done vehilce, I just wish there were a couple more decals for displays for the middle seat.

I like these EE sets, although the "get one of each type" option isn't available right now.  I'm sure that'll change soon.

From now on, i think any girls that fight should get into lingere, cover themselves in baby oil, and get into a ring of Chocolate Pudding.

Can I get an amen?!  ;D

Hang in there Kevin, things will get better.

I was in a car accident about two and a half years ago.  The lady who rear-ended my car tried very hard to get out of there before the police showed up so she could deny that it was her fault (her car wasn't damaged, but mine was).  I just told her she could do what she wanted, but I was waiting for a cop to show up.  She didn't say two words to me after that.

Just make sure that you explain everything you your claims adjuster and be as thorough as possible.  You should be ok.

Chin up bud...you could be here where it's snowing! :o

I was a little shocked that they killed him off, but seeing how the story has unfolded so far, it makes sense.

- If Obi-Wan didn't kill Maul, the council would not have promoted him to Jedi Knight without taking the trials and he probably wouldn't have taken Anakin as a Padawan.

- As cool as Darth Maul was as a Sith he could not have pulled of the deal with the Sepratists.  Dooku/Tyrannus was perfect for this since he was much more charismatic and Nute Gunray would not associate him with Darth Sidious, allowing Sidious to still work his plan behind the scenes.

I thought TPM was pretty good, I think the only failing the PT has had is in Lucas' directing ability, or lack thre of.  Just remember, you have to see all three movies as one story....kinda like how Lord of the Rings was made.

Yes, there is a little display inside that has a display and some buttons that make the display light up and some recorded phrases from ESB play when you press them.  It takes a good chunk of the troop carrying capability out of the "hold" but it's still a pretty cool feature.

Collector's Tips / Re: Moving a collection
« on: April 28, 2005, 12:48 PM »
I've moved a few times with my collection.  I've dealt with movers too so you may have it a little better if you're moving yourself, but not too much of a difference.

I put everything into large rubbermaid bins.  My carded collection came through just fine with a couple of dinged bubbles when one mover dropped a bin down a flight of stairs and the lid popped off.  Now that all my Carded figures (on the "standard" sized cards anyway) are in protecto-paks, I forsee no further trouble there.

If you kept the boxes for your ships, I'd suggest putting them back in them.  Otherwise, I'd suggest dismantling them as much as possible putting them in rubbermaid bins and wrap them in towells or something for padding.

Hope this helps.  I'll post more if I can think of anything.
