I LOVE these Evolutions sets, and I wish Hasbro would be going forward with them, with the ones we all want (Obi Wan, Padme...).  But I guess if they can slip these quality figures into the Saga assortments, then that will be okay. 

I'm going to pop the Clone pilot helmet on a spare AT TE Tank Gunner for sure, and maybe a #41 Clone if it fits right.

Wasn't there a screen scene planned with them back in 2003?  I bet that when we see them, it'll be the sculpts from this.  It wouldn't take too much to repaint them for ROTS, either.  I really hope they do get around to them (and Dorme!).  Maybe if they did them as Stealth figures, you know, or holograms.  Stealth Beru.   ;)

GH is saying Hasbro confirmed Cody, for next year I guess.  That must mean there'll be a Utapau themed wave, which hopefully means we'll get Fox and the Utapau Clone, too.

I'm pretty happy with today's news, and I think the figures look good.  Boussh and Bib are years overdue.  I wonder what the Hoth figures will be (resculpt Snowtrooper, please), and what kind of balance there will be between the OT and PT going forward.

I'm very happy happy they decided to do Luke and Leia, but like everyone else, I kind of wish we were getting either 1) Owen and Beru or 2) the Eopie.  Oh, well.  I mean, I know we all would much prefer a Stealth Trooper.

Anyways, I'm glad I waited on Bail, too.

I actually like the #43 Wookie.  He's half as good as the preview one, but he comes with gobs of neat stuff.  I like this repaint, too.  He reminds me of Planet of the Apes for some reason.  Both do.  Hmm.  And I was trying to think of how these will break down, collection wise (I'm SO bored), and here's what I figured:

I thought a lot about Playmates and Star Trek tonight looking at all those repaints - most of which I like a lot, by the way - but it reminds me an awful lot of "Super Nova" series or whatever the hell it was, vac metal crap and scale changes and straight repaints and swaps.  Maybe it's just all of this Lava Reflection stuff and repacks of HORRID 1997 figures (Hoth set) all in one day, and there's more goodness to come, but man...

Gree looks brand new.  Bly looks great, as do most of the others except for that white Guard.  Big pass on him and the silver Neimodian.  The rest look pretty good, even that odd looking light Wookie...
