So.... what's happening with the deluxe these days, it's been very quiet. Does anyone think were going to see more assortments with more clone colors? I hope someone askes Hasbro at C3 what the deal is with this and with the whole, lets make 1/4 less of the army builders than the Barc speeder/jedi set.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: More articulation!
« on: July 8, 2005, 11:18 AM »
It would be intersting to see how the collector community felt about the whole waist articulation thing, but judging by the reaction here, I would say that a vast majoriy would be against using the old Gi-Joe rubberband waist.

BTW, is that how they still do it?

The Hasbro reps seem like they've take spin cources for politics. I hope more sharp minds, like Matt's, will tune into that and not let them blow off direct questions with non-comittel fluff.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Could you possibly make a good Mace Windu?
« on: July 7, 2005, 12:41 PM »
I never understood the idea that figures have to slash or kick or jump.

It's called play value. ;)

Actually I have to agree that after sevral Maces, we still need a semi-definitive one.

He needs someone to tell him the truth. "George your dialogue sucks, my 6 year old could do better, seek help!"

He did, his name was Gary Kurtz. Lucas fired him for it.

Who ever has the new figures between Target, Walmart and TRU.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Battle Packs (5 figure sets)
« on: July 7, 2005, 12:11 PM »
Out of all the sets, the only figure I'm remotely interested in is that Obi-Wan, and I don't even think they did a good job with it. :P

I don't like buttons either, but the action features this time around worked very well and I actually like them.

Not bad. After shipping it's only a few more bucks than retail with tax. You could brobably get better deals if you hussled, but that isn't bad IMHO.

This does not make sounds though.
