Now with Hasbro in a similar span, 5-POA went from like $6.99 or $7.99 with Solo, to $9.99 for Retro, and now they're seemingly randomly pried between $10.99 and about $16 each for these guys.

I think Retro is sort of fun at $10 or less, but pretty stupid at prices much above that.

I would much, much rather have all new 5POA figures with full paint applications and modern style sculpts than Retro figures.  I'd even be willing to pay somewhat more for new 5POA figures ($13?) than Retro figures.  There are so many 5POA from Mando, Solo, etc. that I'd love to see made before more Retro figures, new or old.

Is that Grogu with pram really new?

For repacks with some flame accessories no less.

Glad I paid $60 to get that Pirate AT-ST just for that figure, only to see him repacked on a card later.  Shame on me for falling for that, I guess.  ::)

I hope he at least turns out repainted enough that he'll look like another gang member...

Ditto.  :'(

So, has it occurred to anyone at Hasbro that they could help save the environment through other means like lifting minimum order quantities, providing group shipping instead of a box per figure, setting up a subscription figure service, etc?  I have to think that reducing transportation waste, extra packaging, consumer gas costs, etc. would do a lot more than eliminating a plastic window.

Yeah, it really doesn't seem to make a lot of sense at times.  They're a toy company making things out of plastic/oil/chemicals, and they're going to worry about a little plastic packaging when their whole product is plastic?

I like the effort to minimize plastic (not eliminate) and use recyclable plastic, but at the end of the day they're in the business of marketing their products and its surprising to me that they think they'll get more bang by eliminating plastic while making their product look lame in the store.  Are collectors, kids, parents, and grandparents really making buying decisions based on the amount of plastic that a package has in it?  I think not.

If they want to be great environmental stewards they should buy carbon offsets, plant trees, use recycled materials, buy solar panels, etc.  There are lots of ways to drive a sustainability initiative.

Does Wal-Mart not allow you to update the CC on preorders?! I went to check on mine and realized it was on my old CC before I had to get it replaced. It won't let me update the payment method on the order, even though I now only have my current card on file with them. I'll be rather upset if the system doesn't switch to bill my correct card and the order gets cancelled.

I need my entertainment-inspired-world-building-accessories damnit!

I haven't tried lately, but no they didn't used to let you update your credit card.  I'm assuming it is still the same because, you know, Wal-Mart.

I got a shipping notice for my Incinerator Trooper and Grogu this morning.

ShopDisney is also shipping theirs.  I picked up a couple there at a discount and cancelled my Pulse orders.

I don't believe so, which seems really weird, even to not do it after the fact.  There is so much random stuff that I'm surprised they haven't come back to it.

Anybody got insight in to when Hasbro may take another shot at a Star Wars Haslab item (hopefully 3.75") now that the Reva lightsaber has not funded.

Jeff, Jayson - anyone have any inside scoop on timing?  Maybe around conventions this summer, or are we going to have to wait until a bit in the future.

Didn't this happen last time too where the retro prototype figure showed up in stores sporadically for 7-10 days before preorders were filled?

New teaser poster released.

I think the poster artwork has been getting more and more simple/lazy.  I'm not sure if the artists don't have enough source material to work with or what.

Can't wait to shell out $80 for some fire effects...

Don't be absurd, you're also getting a cloth cape and some handcuffs!

And the Beskar Spear!

Oh silly me for not noticing... That's a lot of entertainment-inspired accessories in one pack!!!

World building.  Truly world building.

Maybe its just all the weird **** they're putting out these days makes me wonder if I'll ever read half of them.  I'd be interested in reading more about Darth, Luke, etc., but it seems like a lot of what they put out is different series around their totally made up "The High Republic" multimedia project.
