I am tempted to award you 100 bonus points for that one Matt :-*

I'll support that.  Give him 100 points, then take Foulke, Gagne, Helton, Beltran, Dunn, and I-Rod and divide them up over the remaining 6 teams.

Done deal.

"I'm fascinated by rap and hip hop."

-- Senator John Kerry

You don't honestly think that J-Kwon or whatever his name is qualifies as either do you?

I can confirm that Best Buy and Tower Records both list this album under "RAP."

So, to answer your question:

Yes.

This secure feeling was shattred on Sept. 11 2001 when the world saw that this enemy was ready to declare an all out war against the nations that repersent the complete opposite of what they belife this world should be like in they beliefs.

War was declared on us long before that, my friend.  The World Trade Center was attacked in '93, the only man not apprended for his role in this plot,  Abdul Rahman Yasin, a man with ties to Al Qaeda, fled to Iraq.

The US embassies in Northern Africa were attacked by Al Qaeda.

Usama Bin Laden sent fighters into Mogadishu to shoot down our Black Hawk helicopters in our humanitarian mission.

The USS Cole was bombed.

War was declared on the United States all throughout the Clinton administration, there was an act of war on America almost every year of his presidency.  Clinton did nothing.

There is only ONE president who has cleaned out the hornets nest in the Middle East and taken away terror's sanctuary, and that is our 43rd President of the United States George W. Bush.

And President Bush will be getting my vote for the 2nd straight election.

Very funny - I was thinking last week about starting this type of thread over at RS.

I'd love to play chess at yahoo against some of you folks.

I recently put the smack down on Dressel.  :D

If anyone is interested, evenings are best for me (I'm located in CST)  - just shoot me a p.m. either here or over at the scum and we can set something up.

Yeah, he got me in the chess bonanza that night, but I know he's happy he's not in our JD Fantasy Baseball league right about now.

 :D

Does anyone remember which of the owners of the 7 teams in our league drafted Sheffield, Giambi, and Bonds?  It slips my mind...

 :-X

SAN FRANCISCO -- The samples from drug tests taken last year by Barry Bonds and six other baseball players have not been destroyed and can be retested to determine if the players used a designer drug at the center of an alleged steroid-distribution ring, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The seven players in question testified before a grand jury last year, and investigators had been seeking the results from the drug tests. It was believed that only written reports existed, but The Chronicle reported on its Web site Friday night that four sources with knowledge of the subpoena process said the actual urine samples remained and could be retested.

That would allow investigators to determine whether the players used THG, which was allegedly given to athletes by the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative.

If the drug tests prove to be positive, MLB promises to sit all players involved for the season, if not served with banishment for life.

Bonds' personal trainer, Greg Anderson, was among four men indicted last month on charges of illegally supplying performance-enhancing drugs from BALCO. All four pleaded innocent.

"I don't have any concerns that this would be legally significant to Barry," Bonds' attorney, Michael Rains, told The Chronicle.

The other players who testified before the grand jury were Gary Sheffield, Jason Giambi, Jeremy Giambi, Benito Santiago, Armando Rios and Bobby Estalella.

The subpoenas for the tests are due to be returned next Thursday.

I would like to see them nuked!!! Every single on them, it makes me sick to know that any kind of human can do something so damn stupid!  But then again, they are not human.  THEIR ALL ANIMALS!!!  Like wild dogs!!! :-[

My understanding is that those were not even troops that were attacked...they were civilians there to help rebuild the country.

Maybe we should put Saddam back in power for them.

Randy is unprotected thanks to Curt trip to the Red Sox... too much rebuilding

I think Brandon Webb is an extremely formidable number 2 guy behind the Unit, he blew people away last year.

The way I see it Luis Gonzalez-Richie Sexson-Shea Hillenbrand is a nice 3-4-5.

It all depends if Shawn Green can return to his old form.

It's hard to bring up the fact that Curt Schilling live the 'backs and not state that Kevin Brown left the Dodgers.  Brown was 2nd in the NL in ERA last year and K'd a ton of people.

Someone's got to explain to me how the Los Angeles Dodgers are being considered better than the Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Francisco Giants.  Hell, even the Padres are on par with LA this season.  And if LA isn't careful, Colorado could sneak up on them too.  Well, let's not get crazy.

But for real, where is LA better than Arizona and San Francisco other than the closer spot?

I'll give Gagne props, but I don't see anyone else worthy of much mention on LA other than Shawn Green.
