Gotta say, THAT is the biggest surprise over the last four years of this mess.

A few weeks ago I got the TPM Retro set from an employee who got one from the back room too.  A week later they have 8 of them on the shelf in two different locations.  They donít seem to be selling.

Phew.  I hope it goes into the small Targets too.  Those are the ones I walk by at lunch regularly.

Yay.  Two more perfectly fine but uninspired figures made out of old figures.

I just got the same notification from Pulse.

One more thought about avenues for selling... there is a Buy / Sell / Trade section for Lego on RS.  I'm not sure how active it is, but no eBay fees at least...

Absolutely no rush on my end.  I'm not actively looking for one and am in no hurry at all.

And I hear you on the burden thing.  I had a health scare in February where I found out I have a genetic heart conditionÖ my case is apparently pretty minor and I have a great chance of it never affecting me in any serious way, but it carries a small chance of sudden cardiac arrest and it does kill about 1 o 1.5% of people who have it.

I previously figured Iíd enjoy this stuff until sometime my 60ís then sell most of it, and just keep the vintage stuff.  But, before I got to the specialist who said my case isnít severe and heís not that worried about me, all I could think about was dying suddenly and leaving my wife with 5000 action figures, 250 statues, and a ton of Lego to deal withÖ

Iím collecting, Iím enjoying itÖ but at some point it will have to go.  Hopefully not for a long time yet.

Just got mine.  I suppose it's an upgrade over the Disney one, it's a lot larger.

Thatís fair.  And I know itís better if Target sells this stuff.  But also 95% of my TVC buying is Amazon and PulseÖ so it wouldnít be a huge loss if it didnít affect the overall line.

Yakface has a post up from Steve saying TVC hasnít been canceled or paused.

Iíd be more worried if this was the first time this has happened at a major retailer, or if they were having a hard time selling anything but Lando.  Surely Star Wars was moving better than $20 Transformers ReAction figures and stuff like that.  If itís not back in a couple months Iíll start reading into itÖ

Yep. These were an expensive pain in the ass for someone dumb like me last time.  If I remember right, I spent nearly $250 to get all six.

If they donít short pack any itís fine I suppose.

I do have a buddy who sold an entire collection that way.  It was easy and quick, but he didnít get top dollar by any stretch.  I guess itís a matter of whether you value speed and ease or money.

Yeah that would entirely be a question of what your standards are.  If theyíre low, you could certainly do it.

Oh manÖ. Iím sorry to hear about your brother.

As for selling this stuff, Iíve always used eBay but the other one that people always seem to recommend is Facebook Marketplace.  But I donít use Facebook so Iíve never tried it.  If I have something I donít want to ship, Iíll use Craigís List stillÖ but thatís rare.

Let me know what youíre looking to get for the UCS Death Star II.  Thatís the only OT UCS set I donít have and Iíd be interested.
