Saga Collection '06 / Re: 2006 vOTC (or vTSC) - now with pics!

Now that I've seen carded pics, I think the figure is meh at best, but I'm getting all 5 VOTC figs, so I'll just send in the order form anyway.

How many of these do you think will come in MOMC condition? ::)

RED holograms? **** you, Hasbro. Now I'll have to get even MORE of these stupid things.

R5: Great fig, I'll pick one up just to have him.

Hammerhead: Only getting one. Awesome sculpt, but where's the articulation? Finger of Shame for using articulation money on those stupid holograms.

Hem: Looks good, and I'll pick one up, but again, where's the articulation? Another Finger of Shame.

Garindan: On the fence... he looks cool, but the articulation is the same as the POTF2 one. And where is his communicator? Bah, I'll get it anyway.

Han: What's with the crappy headsculpt? I already have a Commtech Han, and a superior VOTC Han, so PASS.

Luke: Crappy figure, but awesome accessories. Finger of Shame to Hasbro for making me pay $7 for accessories.

Sandtrooper: An Evolutions Stormie? Count me in for several. The winner of the wave, I just hope his joints aren't stiff as hell this time.

Vader: Accessories aren't cool enough to get me to pay $7.

Ugh, I want these, but I don't want to spend the money either. I still have to buy those EE Astromechs as well. Those combined with this set is around $120, something I don't want to spend at the moment.

Good grief, Ryan, you had THAT many ships? My invasion force was 8 Victory Destroyers, 2 Star Destroyer, a few Tartans and missile cruisers, and Vader.

Could this have also been a publicity stunt to put the spotlight at this lame reincarnation of DeathStarPlans? I mean, before this thread, I had no idea there was a DSP2. I'm sure there are many here who were the same way.

I don't know, this info sounds a bit too fake to me, particularly that 2 and a half feet long part. It just doesn't sit right with me for some reason. I HOPE that we get an AT-TE, or at least one that's to scale with the AT-AT or something. I could see Hasbro releasing something around that size.

Rykrof - RE customs are becoming a dime a dozen, but they're all great. This one is no exception. IMO, it looks a lot better with a darker red.

Wookiee - good repaint, but the eyes give it a bit of a cartoonish feel. Maybe it's just the angle.

Clones - more great Clone customs... very unique with good paintjobs. I think the Commando repaint looks coolest.

Gunray - Awesome! It looks great, my second favorite of the bunch, only behind...

Hod = TOO F'N COOL! What an awesome custom, and very original. I can't wait to see him in "action."  ;)

I have a MySpace, but only got one due to peer pressure. I rather dislike it, especially their slow as hell servers.

EDIT: Here's mine if anybody wants it.

Sorry to hear about your PC problems CHEWIE. Get them fixed so you can play this great game!

I just finished the mission where Han and Chewie steal plans for large capital ships and you get Admiral Ackbar.  Shortly after, the entire galaxy opened up and the Imperial fleet started attacking my planets.  I think I'm about to lose Dantooine because I had no one there, other than the space station and a fleet just showed up.  I might have a little force building and planet retaking to do, but it should be fun!

Damn, sounds great. I'm stuck on that 2nd Rebel mission where you have to use Y-Wings to disable the shuttles and have Antilles rescue them. I always get down to the last shuttle, and then things fall apart, since the Y-Wings can never neutralize the shuttle. They start shooting, and then the shuttle blows up. It's very annoying.
