I thought it might be interesting to see what types of television shows everyone enjoys out there (even if it is embarassing), or even if you just want to post something interesting, or a Star Wars reference, that you might have seen on TV. (For example, if anyone saw That 70s Show last night, there was a couple SW references on there). Anyways, my wife and I are tv/movie people I guess. Although we aren't couch potatoes in the true sense (we both work full time and exercise at least an hour a day), our evenings are pretty much dedicated to watching the tube together. A few of our favorite shows to watch include (I guess I'll go by days):

Sunday: On Fox, Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, Arrested Development (the wife also enjoys American Dreams, but I usually only see the second half due to Simpsons) Also, lately we have been watching the show "Home Movies" on adult swim (Cartoon Network). It just started airing again, and we find it quite funny.

Monday: Still Standing, Everybody Loves Raymond (CBS)

Tuesday: Nothing really in particular, but we do sometimes watch the show Happy Family on NBC, and According to Jim on ABC.

Wednesday: Fox night, again...That 70s Show is a favorite, and although I might get made fun of for this, we both really enjoy "the O.C." Started watching it with the wife, now we're both hooked .

Thursday: As cliche as it sounds...we always watch Friends. We also catch Will and Grace some of the time, but haven't been overly enthused about it for awhile. We are BIG fans of the show Scrubs (one of the funniest shows on TV I think)...but it hasn't been on lately because of that Trump show.

Friday: Not much on this night I guess. If we're home, we usually watch "Life with Bonnie" (I think that's what it is called). Pretty funny. Also seem to watch Dateline quite a bit on Fridays, if we haven't rented or gone to movies.

Saturday: Other than some sports during the day, it is pretty much a TLC night for us (laugh if you will). We watch home shows such as "Trading Spaces" and "Clean Sweep". We also catch Saturday Night Live if it is new.

Reruns: We consistently watch Seinfeld reruns (our favorite), as well as Friends, Simpsons, and some of That 70s Show. We also catch Family Guy and Futurama on adult swim every night. We occasionally watch us some Letterman and Conan O'Brien as well.  As far as shows that aren't currently on, we used to watch that Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica show on MTV.

I'm in the same boat as many of you.  I don't necessarily consider it "collecting", but as far as which lines I was most into as a kid and gave up on...they are pretty much the same.  I'll list them from what I have most of to least I guess (or close)...

Star Wars/GI Joe - I pretty much collected these at the same time, most of my SW figures came from the ESB and particularly the ROTJ lines...I was a little too young for the first Star Wars (New Hope, even though it wasn't called that) line, never got any of the POTF figures either.  GI Joe it was mostly around the 83-86ish time I guess, although I do remember picking up a fig here or there later on (the 1989 Snake Eyes comes to mind).  I had just a few vehicles for each line, and I think the figures actually integrated in some of my childhood play scenarios .

He-Man/MOTU - I guess this might be up there with the other two as well, I had a pretty good variety of this line, and actually had (and still have) both Greyskull and Snake Mountain.  I still have all of my figures in this line from my childhood, although not necessarily all the weapons.  Playsets really made these fun to play with, along with the "Attak Tracks" or whatever it was called.

Super Powers/Secret Wars - A little bit of each of this line, although I probably had a little more of the Super Powers line.  Figures I remember having off hand are Spidey, Wolverine, Doc Ock, Batman, Robin, Joker, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern.  I still have most of these figures, in varying degrees of condition .

Transformers/Go Bots - Again, little bit of both.  I only had a few Transformers (they were a little more expensive to buy myself, and didn't get a whole lot as gifts).  I remember getting my favorite, Sideswipe, as an Easter gift from my parents.  Makes me tempted to pick up the Alternators one that is supposed to be coming out.  I also had an Insecticon (Kickback?), Dinobot (the Triceratops), and a number of the smaller ones.  This is a line that I kind of combined with friends', so we had more to play with then.  I probably had more of the Go-Bots, simply because they were smaller...also had the Command Center thingy too for those.

MASK - This is a line (and short-lived cartoon) that I really liked, but it ended too quickly (at least it seemed to me).  I had my favorite, the orange pick up with a guy named "Hondo" if I remember right?  I had a few smaller vehicles as well.

Baseball/Football/Basketball cards - Ok, this was probably the worse....I had a TON of these, and still do have most of them.  I sold a few shoeboxes full of "extras" at a garage sale earlier this year, just because we needed the room.  This was probably a big of a collector thing for me, next to what Star Wars is now.  I can't begin to imagine what I spent on these things.  I got out of these in the early 90s (maybe 94ish), partially because I couldn't bring myself to spend upwards of $2 a pack for like 8 cards.  In my heydey, it was less than a buck a pack for many, with like 12-15 cards per pack.  A lot of good memories of those times though, all of my friends collected as well.  It got to be too many brands too, when we were collecting it was Topps, Score, Donruss, Fleer, Upper Deck, NBA Hoops, Skybox, Pro Line? (football), and lines like that.  Half of them probably don't even exist anymore.  The last card I think I bought was an Upper Deck Chris Webber rookie card, if I remember right.

Comics - I had a fair amount of comics too, but haven't bought any (other than the ones that come with ML) for a looong time.  Top three were easily X-Men, Spidey (various ones), and Batman.  I also had quite a bit of Iron Man and some Wolverine comics.

Hot Wheels - I had a lot of these, as well as Die Cast Tractors (hey I grew up on a farm).  Still have many of those, used to have a little vinyl carrying case for the Hot Wheels....I think those are fun for almost every generation.

As far as now, its pretty much been just the Star Wars stuff for me.  I have been tempted by many lines, but haven't ended up collecting too much of it.  Mainly, because we don't have the room, the extra collecting funds, or the patience.  I have two LOTR figures (RA Legolas, Smeagol - bendy), two MOTU figures (He-Man and Sy-Klone, although I'd buy a Roboto if I ever saw one), and about three Joe figures (I bought two different Snake Eyes figures, and happened to get a Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow with them).  I do collect some Marvel figures, just the X-Men ones for now (have Beast, Wolvie, Magneto, Colossus, and Gambit), and recently picked up the Spidey 2 Super Articulated Spidey.  Star Wars takes precedence among the others, all the time.

That's pretty much the same way I feel from time to time Scott.  Plus, Episode III might end up being the best of the prequel movies too.  It seems to get a little better each time it gets closer to "original trilogy time" .  I've had to start skipping vehicles and playsets too, I just don't have the room.  Might have to pack a few away as well.

I really hope that everything rumored there is able to turn out.  Although we've had a wealth of Lukes this year, I would gladly welcome a new Dagobah one.  I think it would be great to get a new OT Yoda.  Even though we got several PT versions over the past year or two, it has been awhile since the OT version...and I really think Hasbro could do much more with this figure/character now.  I'd also buy up each of those rumored figs for the Bespin wave.  The Coruscant wave doesn't sound too bad either.  I'm really enjoying the focus on the OT this year, and so far, the sculpting and figures in general have been amazing, at least in my opinion.  Definitely brings memories of the POTJ times.

Not too excited about these...but I think warnings of pegwarming hell are overdoing it, things have been selling quite well, even the clone wars stuff moved better than I thought it would

I agree Scott, especially if they are only packed 1 per case.  My shopping choices are somewhat limited where we live, but the Targets, TRU, and Wal-Marts we visit regularly are pretty much always cleared out.  The "Greatland" Target (where I've had the most luck), has sold through everything they have had Star Wars since they opened in October...including a TON of Clone Wars Anakins and Yodas (I was surprised).  I'm glad to see things selling, but it does make it tough to find figures now and then .  At least we know they're out there though, not like last year where they never even seemed to make it to the stores.

As many of you have probably seen/heard, we hired former Oakland Raiders coach Bill Callahan as the next head man of Husker football.  Although I sure didn't expect this guy to be our next coach when Solich was fired, hopefully it will be good for the team.  He is bringing in a West Coast offense, so it will be an adjustment for the Husker faithful getting used to something new.  Change can be good though.  Unfortunately, we heard today that only two of the assistants would be kept on the staff (not surprisingly), but sad to see many long time coaches (and some new) leaving the program.  Husker football is about all we have for sports around here, so we really get to know all the coaches and players pretty well.  Hopefully we can get the ship righted now, and not go through the staff changes every year.

Thanks for the heads up Scott, its nice to get a chance to see pics of both Lando and Madine.  I notice Hasbro isn't giving the little line at the end "come back next month to see pics of the next wave....", like they used to .  Also, just noticed...with the exception of the wrist/hand part, don't Lando's and Madine's right arms look a lot the same?  Not that I am complaining, just an observation.
