Watto's Junk Yard / Re: The MCU post Endgame.

My wife and I watched She-Hulk and enjoyed it for what it was.  Definitely being used to set up things for the future.  And I absolutely loved the intro for the finale.  Brought me right back to watching The Incredible Hulk as a kid.  Interested to see where they take the characters they've introduced.

Overall I've liked how they have developed each streaming series to be different from what we've seen in the MCU and absolutely different from each other.  Really looking forward to the new series in development and Season 2 of several of these series.

Oh, and Black Panther Wakanda Forever looks amazing and can't wait to go see that!

My theory on this is that Reva was Obi-Wan's padawan after Anakin (that was never mentioned in ROTS) and that's why she's hunting him down.  She felt as though he abandoned her and thus the obsession with wanting to find him.

Meatloaf died.  :(

In death, a member of Project Mayhem has a name. His name is Robert Paulson.

It didn't dawn on me until this morning that my issue with the show is that I'm watching "Spy Kids" set in the SW Universe.  I had to sit through years of those awful movies when my boys were younger.  Once I rehashed the palace fight and chase scenes with the Vespa crew and wondered why I thought they were so bad did I realize it's because of RR's Spy Kids torture I endured all those years ago.  Episode 1's sand monster, the kid with the bionic leg, the poorly executed speeder chase, bad effects, poor attempts at humor, it all stems from RR.  I half expect both of the main characters from those movies to make cameos in the last few episodes.

Picked up the UCS AT-AT.  Site went active 5 minutes before the top of the hour, so was able to snag it before it sold out.  Hope everyone else is able to get one!

Keep me in mind for next season Rob.  Just started playing for the first time this season in a family league and am enjoying it a lot, so would be happy to join in with you all.

I'm glad this is streaming on HBO Max...The Wachowskis owe me money for seeing Revolutions in the theater.

Thanks for the reply Dave.  I've been looking also and there are one-off editions that could score more than face value as they are limited run hard covers, but like you said, most are face value or less depending on the series.

I may post them on the Classifieds first to see if there is any interest before trying eBay, but I ultimately think these will end up at the used book store in the end.

Admins, please feel free to move this to the appropriate thread, I wasn't sure where I should post it.

The wife is forcing a renovation of the basement and I had to choose between Kubricks, Lego and my book collection.  Unfortunately the book collection lost.  Do any of you know what the appetite is for pre-Disney era books on the secondary market (i.e., not marked as "Legends")?  Trying to determine if it makes more sense to try and sell these or just donate to a local book store in my area.  Thanks in advance for any advice given.

I had to delete the app from my TV, reboot the TV, reload the app and then it worked.  It had to be my TV that was the issue because I could watch it fine on my phone.  Good to know in case it happens again.

Tried to watch WandaVision today and about 5 minutes into the second episode, the sound cut out.  Have tried again multiple times to restart the episode but no luck.  Even tried watching the first episode again and that one doesn't have sound now.

Anyone else having issues with their Disney+?

Watched WW84 and thought it was just okay.  At 2.5 hours long, there were a lot of filler sequences (fighting/other) that could have been cut down significantly without taking anything away from the story.  But the story wasn't that good to begin with, so maybe that's why the fillers were as long as they were.  Sure am glad I didn't spend the $100+ I would have to see it in the theater with the family, that's for sure.

They wanted to go find that scene in AOTC where Kenobi and Jango were battling and the sonic bombs were dropped.

My sons said the exact same thing!  They didn't get the cannon fire during the chase so they wanted to hear that again too.
