Does anyone know if Kubricks take the vintage (smaller hole) or modern (larger hole) Real Stands?

If I can get a few spare minutes this weekend to poke around the hobby room, I'll see if I can dig up my vintage and modern Real Stands (and that Kit!  ;)), and see if either work with the Kubricks...

Is there usually this much time between the series in other kubrick sets or news about the new set.

Can't recall right now, but I bet you could find the answer by searching our JD news archives on the front page, and/or by looking through our previous two Kubrick threads here (linked in the first post of this thread).  I'll see if I can figure that out this afternoon when I've got some spare time, since I'm interested in that answer as well...

Hmm. thats surprising.  No bigee as mine do not tend to fall, now my vintage figures are a different story.  I am going to break down any buy 100 from Wholesalecases.

Anyone have a micrometer handy? :)

Does anyone have any Playmates Star Trek figures? I was looking at the Ultarama displays, and those use two different peg sizes, one of which is for modern Star Wars figures. It looked like the larger pegs (for Star Trek) could possibly be the correct size.

Hey guys I took some pics of my entire Kubrick collection, other than carded Luke, last night.  Go here if you care to check them out.

Holy crap!  Nice collection Jon!   :o  I think you just took the King Kubrick title from Scott in a landslide (for non-Star Wars)...

Real funny, old man...   >:(   :P

Guess I won't sweat trying out the Real Stands, since it sounds like neither of them work...   :-\

Is there usually this much time between the series in other kubrick sets or news about the new set...

Alrighty...  Better late than never.  As promised, I looked up Kubricks on our main news page, and this is the timeline I came up with:

4/18/03 - Series 1 Bounty Hunters released

6/13/03 - Series 2 figures announced and shown at Medicom Toy Exhibition (I think 4 of these were discovered a little before that though)

11/03 - Series 2 figures released (late November)

April '04 - Endor Kubricks due out (for MY reference)...

So there ya' have it.  There was less than a 2 month wait for the first Series 2 news after the release of Series 1, and another 5 months after that before they actually came out...

I wonder if we'll have to wait 'til Medicom's Toy Exhibition in June again to hear about Series 3...  Another 3 months of waiting would suck.   :-\

Real funny, old man...   >:(   :P

At least you didn't say Old Fossil!  :P  ;D

I would hate to wait 3 months to hear about the next series. Next month would be perfect. Would you think that at the next Toy Exhibition, they might slap us with another carded figure?  :-\

That one auction is up to $73.00.

KUBRICK INDIANA JONES CHASE

Last completed auction, $91.57.

INDIANA JONES STAR WARS KUBRICK CHASE FIGURE

Maybe best to go for the $80. Indy or the set from BBTS for $129.99.  :-\
