Animated Wave 3 - Anakin/Grievous/ARC

I'm filled with sadness.  No Snow Bunny Padme.  No Armored Obi.  Sigh.  

There's always hope, I suppose, but then I've been waiting for an orange handmaiden Padme since May 1999, and thought I had one finally today, only to discover she's someone else.  

It's like Wedge all over again.

I'm kind of glad to hear there are more of these on the way too.  The Anakin and Grievous both look really good, and an ARC Trooper would be sweet to have as well.  I'm kind of hoping they have at least another series, with figures such as Obi Wan in Clone Armor, Snow Bunny Padme, and the Droids included.

Obi-Wan in armor is one that they've got to do!  I'd also like to see an IG Lancer Droid and Padme in her Ilum outfit.

Yeah a new Anakin is sort of dumb but if they do make a fourth wave, R2, 3PO, Snow Bunny Padme and Obi-Wan in Armor would be nice...and then whatever they have in store for the next Season

That's what gets me about them announcing this wave... they're all from the now long-gone seasons, and there's nothing from the new one, which I'm assuming they don't have time to actually sculpt, considering how late the show was greenlit. There better be a another set coming to include new characters and give me my frickin' Padme.

Has everyone seen the new picture of the Red ARC Captian Animated figure int he insider yet?

More pre-posed-ness in appearance, but a good sculpt.  These figures suck for articulation, but the likenesses are dead on...

I'll probably end up grabbing 1 set to go with the other 8 on my shelf.

Jeff, since I won't see an Insider for about another six weeks if you have it now can you please tell me if this is the same red ARC as previously released?  I suspect since this is the animated thread it is not the case as the previous red ARC was the regular not animated line, but would like to check anyway.

Heh.  I wasn't quite going to put it that way, but yeah, that was surprising - but fine with me!

Everyone's listing him as a Captain...  I've always disagreed with that because, well, in the toon Obi calls him Sergeant directly.  Dunno why EU's mixed up there, but they are... 

I like Sergeant myself...  There's too many red's to all have been Captains in the film.

And on that note, carry on the non EU-debate conversation that was going on anyway.
