The only thing I hope they are wrong about is the part about it possibly being a WalMart exclusive.

Sorry Dave, but that part is 100% true according to Hasbro:

"Previously shown at Comic Con, the 7" Unleashed wave that included Han Solo, Chewbacca and the Clone Trooper has been delayed to Fall 2006 and will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart."


I guess at this point all you can do is hope that Hasbro decides to make a change... again.   

Questions for anyone who has ordered from Hobby Link Japan:

1)  If I order 4 boxes of Star Wars Kubricks, will they send me a master case sealed?  I want to get a blue Snaggletooth or Walrusman

Usually, yes they try to give you a master case if you order 4 boxes but it is NOT guaranteed.  I know of at least one person who ordered 4 boxes from them and did NOT get a master case chase figure but got 4 "regular" boxes.

This late in the game, it is a bit of a gamble... 

2)  What will the shipping costs be for 4 boxes of Kubricks to the U.S. via either surface or express mail?

Surface = about $33-35 for 4 boxes
EMS = about $60-65 for 4 boxes

3)  Will I have to pay any customs or import fees to receive the package?

Not usually in the USA (in Canada - yes).  If you have it sent COD, then it will require fees, but I've never had any customs fees on HLJ packages.

Finished off my set at Target this afternoon, grabbing a Bib and Chewie to keep carded and a Boba and Barada to open.

Unfortunately, because I wasn't paying enough attention when I bought the "opener" figures (Boba and Barada), I am now the proud owner of THREE Count Dooku Mini-Holos.   

I was so busy worrying about the paint jobs on them because I knew I was going to open them that I completely forgot to flip them around to check the mini-holo too.  Turns out they both had the Dooku Holo, which I already had from Bib last week...   

Uh, dude, if you read the description it says:

"NOTE: This item is not available for shipment from Hasbro until January of 2006."

Just an FYI, that blurb about "not available for shipment from Hasbro" is something that Hasbro asked (forced?) them to add because they are selling product early (product obtained via overseas contacts).

They (ToyRocket) caught a lot of flak from Hasbro for selling the Carkoon wave figures early, so Hasbro told ToyRocket they needed to put that disclaimer in there...  I know it sounds lame, but that is what happened and that is why that disclaimer is on all the Hoth Wave figures. 

Anyway, back tot he original point - Yes, the whole Hoth wave is in-stock over there, not just the AT-AT Driver figure.
